No you haven't. Russia has a better top6, without blinking. A lot better goalies. We have better top12 forwards as well and a lot deeper pool of goalies and again, better.
But you seem to live in the days when Lidas, Foppa and Sudden played. That seems to make you feel better.

Ever heard of that position called defensemen? Geeh, I wonder why you ignore that? Swedish D blows Russia and Finland out of the water and FYI, you can only play one goalie at a time. You don't get bonus points if you have several good ones. Sweden has Markström/ Lehner/ Ullmark, that's good enough if there are injuries. Otherwise you can get far with Markström as the starter.

Win the puck, rush it up the ice, dump the puck, lose it, backcheck, win the puck back on the opposing dump in. That has been the game so far.

Which is essentially what it is. I still don't understand why our coach picked no goal scorers for the team. That Canada lacks talent is obvious though, everything is tied to the NHL.
