It’s because I didn’t watch…you’re welcome everyone lol

In all seriousness, I have still not watched a game where they’ve won since mid December. Every game they win is a game I decide to sit out

No Barzal. No Pageau. No Wahlstrom. No Clutterbuck. No Problem
You know what I was thinking, have seen this movie often in hockey. Players with bigger names are out. Players step up. This is why I never look at icing the best EA sports rated team as a sure thing. Chemistry is ellusive, when you find it. Sure it is good to have the shiny stats players. I am not casting any dispersions on any of the players out. But then again, it is a reason why I valued Komarov more than others perhaps as a player. It's about getting W's. Isles played hard in the 3rd. Parise, Martin, Horvat ect...If we could only bottle chemisty. Looked like the Trotz first 3 seasons Isles there in the 3rd.

This team is a real c*ck tease. They would absolutely have a fighting chance to make the playoffs with Barzal in the lineup. This lineup, though as gritty an effort as you'll see tonight, will not be able to play like this for the next 20 or so games. Stuck in f***ing no man's land. Not good enough for the playoffs, but will play hard enough to avoid a top pick (most nights). Sure the loss of Barzal may ignite them, but for a team struggling with talent, they absolutely cannot afford his loss.

Lastly, they have to cut down the chances against. 48 shots is unacceptable; they need to play a real conservative game, Trotz-like, and score opportunistic goals.

14 minutes in a NHL debut for Durandeau tells you a lot about how Lambert felt about his game.

On the otherhand, Holmstrom was slotted on the top line from the start, but didn't stay there long(after his man beat him inside and tapped in a free goal). Holmstrom only played 8:49. We're now 32 games into his career, it looks like he needs more time in the AHL.

My god maybe your right but why cant we just praise a gutsy effort tonight, tonight is way more fun than hoping team tanks for bedard

nice motor and speed. Injected some life tonight Can the kid keep it up?
Exactly what the Isles need and have missed the past 2 seasons. If he can bring it nightly and the W's keep coming. I sure hope they keep him. If the team has found some mojo and identity with all the injuries, don't mess with it.

Yeah he’s really soft player, wasn’t playing all that well in bridgeport when he got called up. He’s smart and shifty and good defensively for most part but he’s not untouchable, his offense is limited.

Absolutely; they deserve the praise. I've always loved the Parises and Cizikas of the hockey world, and they shined tonight. The french kid looks like he's in that mold. A blue collar night.

Don't mind me, very frustrated.

Holmstrom is playing a much bigger role than he would have expected. Is probably tiring a bit, it's his first season in NHL
