I've played Watch Dogs Legion and really enjoyed it so I am now playing through Watch Dogs 1 and also bought the 2nd one. Loving the first so far, these games are super underrated I feel and dirt cheap, was like 10 bucks total for both of them or something.

Also started Super Mario Odyssey yesterday. Having a blast so far. Am also off and on playing Zelda BOTW right now but am waiting for my regular switch I just ordered to come in so I can play it on my TV (playing on a Switch lite right now)

Got a PS5 and decided to jump back into Jedi: Fallen Order where I left off on PS4, and immediately remembered why I stopped playing that game.

I’m a sucker for all the Watch Dogs games. Really liked all of them but 2 was the best.

Just finished the first one last night. Had a blast with it, not sure what all the fuss was about with them tbh. Watch Dogs 2 is all I've got left from that franchise to play now so that's good to hear.

Spyro the Dragon - playing the remaster on the PS4, fun little game, my 5 y/o is "helping" me play by being the spotter for the dragons that need to be freed
This is amazing and will surely be a great memory to look back on. Something I'm looking forward to if and when I'm a father myself some day.

She plays a little bit of Mario Kart now, once she gets a bit better with reading and her rights and lefts I'll have a permanent player 2, it's fun and also gives mom a little peace and quiet so I get to be a hero twice

It's all fun and games till ten years in the future when she is kicking your ass and you are conflicted with being annoyed and being proud.

I'm about 4 missions into Sniper Elite 5. I think I liked 4 better, but I'm still enjoying it. It's essentially the same game but with different locations. There is more customization with weapons than previous versions, but I've basically been using the same ones since the beginning.

Yeah my son is 4 and I'm really looking forward to playing games with him. Might need another year, I started with 5 or 6 years back then. Playing with my parents will always be a great memory for me.

On topic:

I just got Call of Duty: Cold War. First CoD for me since Black Ops 2.

Like the campaign so far. Multiplayer is ok I guess. Haven't played too much.

That game was life changing for me, I think I played it almost exclusively for close to a year, FO3 and Bioshock are the two games I wish I had the Men in Black memory eraser thing for, to be able to play again fresh
My first Fallout game was New Vegas and I absolutely hated it. I was already done with that franchise. It was a recommendation from a die hard New Vegas fan.

Then a close friends told me to give a try to Fallout 4 and I LOVED it. When I was done with the main and side quests, I still needed my daily Fallout fix.

So I went on Fallout 76. At first, I was mixed feelings. Then I kinda liked it, But there is no real point to play that game. No real storyline. AND LAGS.

I saw Fallout 3 for 5 bucks in a pawn shop. Why not? And I think the game is right between New Vegas and FO4. Like the perk system and dialogues of NV but the atmosphere and vibe of FO4. I feel like the shooting mechanics are less clunky and more fluid than NV and you don't just wander in the desert.

I remember when I finally beat my brother who is 3 years older than me at games. He was an avid gamer for years but then had some issues with grades and my parents took away all his videos games so he could focus on homework (issue was he wasn’t doing homework and had a ton of missing assignments). I was able to play video games all during that time which lasted at least a month or two and once he got back to playing, I was able to beat him.
I just started Fallout 3 for the first time. I gotta say that, for now, I like it more than New Vegas.
I easily put up over 100 hours on Fallout 3 years ago. My brother easily put up way more than that.

I want to play Hot Wheels but all the DLC kind of puts me off. It makes me want to wait a couple years to get the whole bundle cheap.

For what it's worth, the same devs made a game called Gravel that is often on sale for under $5 that was a lot of fun.

I tried playing this new game called Souldiers and it is infuriating. The demo was fun but it got worse and worse as you went on. The difficulty requires you to have really precise controls but the controls aren't precise enough. You need really quick reflexes but your character has weight so the response isn't immediate. Sometimes you hold down and jump to drop a platform and it just won't drop. Sometimes you grab ledges when you're not that close and it messes with your jump, sometimes it won't grab those same ledges. The dodge roll has like a 2 second cooldown and enemies attack so quickly. Some have multiple quick attacks and there's no attack pattern so you can't predict it. Roll through an attack? The enemy might decide to just instantly switch to a different attack before your roll cooldown is up dealing damage.

The platforming is serviceable at the start but as you progress, it gets tougher and tougher. It's still fine but the main problem here is how many flying enemies there are. You have to hit them like 6-7x each to kill them, sometimes they attack two at a time so the fight's even longer, and every time you hit them, they fly away! It really makes the combat drag. Worst yet is they'll often be found where if you miss a jump or get hit, you get knocked off a ledge into a hazard below. Speaking of hazards, sometimes enemies will fall from above right onto your head with no warning. Some checkpoints get so far apart that you can get through 10 minutes of progress and die to some BS like an enemy falling on your head to lose all your progress. I just don't understand that kind of game design.

The reviews were really good and at first I was thinking, "I hated Dark Souls, maybe this is some Soulslike that I just can't be bothered to learn." But then I remembered playing and loving Blasphemous. At least Blasphemous had some tight controls and actually felt fair rather than forcing you into these long, drawn out fights in unfair platforming sections. Now looking at Steam reviews, they're mixed which makes a lot more sense. I'm fine with difficult games, like I said, I loved Blasphemous, but it needs to be fair and fun. This is neither.

I played Fallout 3 on the 360 as my first Fallout game and loved it, sank hundreds of hours into it and got all achievements on it which was the first time I'd ever done that. After 10 years and having played the rest of the games, its definitely my least favorite of the main series (1-4 + New Vegas).
