They could pass us tonight with a win over the Sabres. Habs are playing well.MTL 1 point back is so depressing

Boston doesn’t seem like a legit threat for a playoff spot despite where they sit. A lot of injuries and we have 3 games in hand.
Hopefully Nashville beats NYR tonight so we can start pulling away from the teams on the outside. I won’t hold my breath though.
I'll need to see the Bruins miss the playoffs before I will believe they're out of it. They've had a bad season for sure. I wouldn't be surprised though if they came outta nowhere with a big deadline splash.
9-11-3 in their last 23 games, I hadn't realized how much they'd been struggling.Jack Hughes seems to have re-injured his shoulder last night (actually hard to watch, hope he’s alright).
Bringing it up here because the Devils have been struggling and it seems fairly plausible CBJ could catch them since they’re only 4 points back with 2 games in hand, especially if Hughes is out awhile. So might be another team to watch in the wild card mix here.
I thought they’d be a lock for the playoffs, so it is strange to see a scenario where they might struggle to hold on.9-11-3 in their last 23 games, I hadn't realized how much they'd been struggling.
It's weird because on paper they should be a contender-two elite forwards in J.Hughes and Bratt, a great 2C in Hischier, solid defense corps and a great goalie in Markstrom.9-11-3 in their last 23 games, I hadn't realized how much they'd been struggling.
