not a good out of town scoreboard lol oh well.. If we don't make it we just have ourselves to blame as we had a nice lead in the standings that we squandered, now we are depending on other teams losing

At least Detroit/columbus didn't go to OT

Boston doesn’t seem like a legit threat for a playoff spot despite where they sit. A lot of injuries and we have 3 games in hand.

Hopefully Nashville beats NYR tonight so we can start pulling away from the teams on the outside. I won’t hold my breath though.

Jack Hughes seems to have re-injured his shoulder last night (actually hard to watch, hope he’s alright).

Bringing it up here because the Devils have been struggling and it seems fairly plausible CBJ could catch them since they’re only 4 points back with 2 games in hand, especially if Hughes is out awhile. So might be another team to watch in the wild card mix here.

I'll need to see the Bruins miss the playoffs before I will believe they're out of it. They've had a bad season for sure. I wouldn't be surprised though if they came outta nowhere with a big deadline splash.

Their pro scouting is what has gotten them into this mess, complete miss on Lindholm and trading Ullmark. You wonder if they have tried so hard to keep the team at the top at this point t the desperation is showing and the balance on the team is way off.

My guess is their next big pro move will be another mistake trying to patch up their sinking ship

In hindsite, keeping Ullmark and not signing lindholm might have been the best move of all, the classic “moves we didn’t make” thing

9-11-3 in their last 23 games, I hadn't realized how much they'd been struggling.

I thought they’d be a lock for the playoffs, so it is strange to see a scenario where they might struggle to hold on.

Getting out of a rebuild these days is a mission.
