I’m happy we’re ahead…but….it’s not a successful team if only one line can score.., G and Smith have been falling off lately…no shots for that line tonight…Rakell can’t put a puck in to save his life…

they just managed last two shifts to get some extensive time...that line needs to counter attack..all that work on the wall and behind the goal means nothing, especially if moving puck high is Ruhwedel

Decent period. But still have to get more net presence. DOC just loses to many pucks to me. Just never gets puck in a position to make something happen. Fumbles constantly.

Hard to argue that they’re not our best line though.

Would they be the best line if they didn’t get favorable matchups and deployments? Both L2 and L3 have looked like our best at times too

I think they would. He barely even line-matches at home.

It’s malpractice for Sullivan to play our third pair behind either of our top two lines but how often does L1 get Ruh versus L2? Guarantee Geno gets way more time w him lol

That is the worst possible guy you could give the puck to... he will get stupid slop goal before Rakkell gets a goal the way it is going for Rakell.

Neither line should see any time with Ruh behind them. Ruh shouldn’t even be on the team lol.

Sid and Rust are out of this world...Jake good supplement...not sure about favorable matchups...they are outplaying most of the lines

You can play this game for any line that gets “favorable deployments”. It’s a waste of time game.

They’re going against the other teams top units every game though so I don’t see how that’s “favorable”.

You can play this game for any line that gets “favorable deployments”. It’s a waste of time game.

They’re going against the other teams top units every game though so I don’t see how that’s “favorable”.

They didnr get their goal tonight against the Canes top units but bottom six lines, plus DeAngelo…Sully matched them up…happens more often then you think

Penguins were credited with 13 shots late in the opening period. Their total dropped to 12, and now is 11. They'd better hope the second period starts before Crosby's goal gets taken away, too.
