Is Pickering being exaggerated with how good he will get... because Ruh, Shae and Ludvig just don't cut it?

His very brief stint in the A last year wasn't great, but you can't tell much from that. He won't be ready for at least awhile. So get used to career 6/7 and tweeners on the bottom pair.

On the goal EK stick tapped pretty loud before the Canes D rang it around the boards which led to the goal. Whether or not that had anything to do with turnover I dunno but if so he sure got him.

Also, with 4:15 to go in the period the Canes tried the same backdoor play the Devils scored on Thursday, but EK broke it up. There will be gaffes every now and then but he's playing hard defensively. Also, as for the two 2-on-1s he gave up .... one Pettersson should have done the smart thing and ring it behind the net. On the second one Guentzel is behind him at the blue line but vacates trying to find the loose puck after it's knocked free from EK. If he stays at the blueline there isn't a 2-on-1.

Were you not the one that wanted Sullivan to keep Malkin away from Staal? Shouldn't it be a good thing if the top line isn't facing the top shutdown pair?
