If he’d accept being the 2nd pairing guy, he could be really useful. But he has it in his head he’s the number one so he tries to play like it…often to less than mediocre results.it might really be over for letang

Crosby’s been making really rough decisions, particularly around exiting the zone. I’m not sure if he’s put a puck on net yet either? He starts slow but yeah this is a particularly slow start to the season.Who's worse right now? Crosby or Letang?

Turnovers, him leaving his post on goal #1 says otherwise.I'm not really getting the anti Letang comments. He's been pretty good tonight. Am I watching the same game?
I didn't like the slap pass he tried there just now but he's been largely good this game.
I'd still very much like to see a massive clean open ice hit on Mike Sullivan by Arber Xhekaj. For the next month, or however long it takes, practice needs to consist of nothing but behind the net retrievals with only Jarry and Graves until they manage to knee on knee each other.
This team needs more of it, its usually only Bunting and not many else making opponents life miserable, so great to see someone else show some life.DOC's got a ton of piss and vinegar tonight for some reason. Don't hate to see it tbh.
I know someone who does and, unfortunately, he makes the decisions.DOC's got a ton of piss and vinegar tonight for some reason. Don't hate to see it tbh.
It's easy to focus on Jarry letting in a couple of bad goals but that shouldn't distract anyone from the fact that the Habs outplayed and out skated the Penguins for most of that period.
If not for Lars, that's a bigger embarrassment.
Not saying he's been perfect but relative to how he was playing in other games this season this is a marked improvement.Turnovers, him leaving his post on goal #1 says otherwise.
Just waited and see, the great Sully will make all the right adjustments in the third period, or you know, just do the exact same as allways and expect different results..I'd still very much like to see a massive clean open ice hit on Mike Sullivan by Arber Xhekaj.
I wouldn't say TJ has been bad in this one. Hasn't been clutch either. I'd like the first goal back but other than that I don't have any issue with goals 2 or 3 going in on him. It's easy to focus on Jarry letting in a couple of bad goals but that shouldn't distract anyone from the fact that the Habs outplayed and out skated the Penguins for most of that period.

I think he's playin' with a grenade. Not saying he's been perfect but relative to how he was playing in other games this season this is a marked improvement.
He's rocking an almost 80% xgoals 5v5 as well
They let the Habs out skate them because they don't trust their goalie and don't think it's worth it to put in the effort when they believe their goalie will just let them down so why bother. It's easy to focus on Jarry letting in a couple of bad goals but that shouldn't distract anyone from the fact that the Habs outplayed and out skated the Penguins for most of that period.

What you think I'm gonna stop posting when we're bad? If that were true you wouldn't have seen me the past two yearsI can't wait for this team to be dreadful post-Sid so we don't ever have to hear about xGF or P/60 bullshit again.

Habs have an xgf of 2 and that feels right to me. Jarry has let in one more than he should have.
If he didn't do that (or worse) in every start, it would be easier to look past.I wouldn't say TJ has been bad in this one. Hasn't been clutch either. I'd like the first goal back but other than that I don't have any issue with goals 2 or 3 going in on him.
