Bednar won't be fired before December 1st at the very earliest. And by then, Lehky, Drouin, and Nuke will be back.
They'll probably go like 10-4-1 in November and be back to .500 or slightly above by then anyway.
Once some of these scrubs are replaced with real players they'll start winning again. The only thing thay may cause issues is the goaltending but I honestly think between Juice and Kahkonen one of them will give us .900 which will be enough to grind back to .500 hockey again by December.
However. This start is absolutely exposing the overall depth as being a major concern. Sure at full health with everyone playing in the right spots, look pretty good. But as soon as we take even just 1 or 2 injuries, the guys we have as 13/14Fs and 7/8Ds are simply scrubs and it immediately becomes an issue. The guys who are playing bottom 6 look way worse as soon as they move up 1 line... etc. etc.
Gonna need quite a bit of work at the deadline again.
