Does anyone think the Bruins make the PO's if Claude was still coach. I don't. In fact I thought they waited to long for it to make a difference.

The B's would've been out of a playoff spot weeks ago if Claude was still coach IMO.

I'm so glad Sweeney fired him when he did, (although I would've preferred 2 years ago)....and Cassidy has done a fine job since.

and the best part is, we don't have to read these kind of posts (below) on here anymore:

... "There's no better options out there than Claude for the B's coach".

... "If it wasn't for Claude, this team would be in the basement".

... "The Bruins will never make the playoffs if Claude is fired".

... "This team doesn't have any talent".

... "If Claude gets fired, Bruins fans will regret it".

...etc. etc.

Bro time do some of that carb loading and send the malocchio you know where.

Will do. will do......in all honesty, even though I do not follow hockey like I use to. I still have this feeling in my stomach whenever I hear the scabs doing well.....I will try my best to send the curse that I normally send off to them prior to the start of the po's.

The weirdest thing is that he was 16/16 after the 2nd period. That means he only took 1 faceoff in the third with a 2-0 lead and a playoffs spot on the line? I guess Cassidy felt bad for the Lightning.

And didn't but he have a streak starting with last game? Like 25 in a row? Someone posted that in game thread

Fantastic win tonight. The vets did what vets are supposed to in games like this, especially Tuukka and Bergy. The supporting cast filled in quite beautifully, and the boys clinched. Now TCB vs Ottawa and get an Atlantic spot.

Brad Marchand spear to Jake Dotchin's groin under review by NHL Player Safety Dept, per source. Don't think he's getting away w/just a fine According to haggs

I'm counting on you .........................no pressure:laugh:

Sorry to hear you've lost interest in the greatest game on earth, probably explains why we don't see you posting any more :( . I was just thinking about you the other day, was wondering what was up, why you hadn't been around. Any way I miss you around here. Hope you change your mind.

Bet on it - most likely the last 2 of the regular season and it might cost him 40 goals.

Despite Prust doing exactly the same to Marchand, showing absolutely no remorse, borderline gloating about it, and getting off with a fine.

Not only that, but it was premeditated too. The Marchand spear was a spur of the moment thing that most likely was an attempt to give him a leg tap after the push to his back.

I still think we can do it without Brad . Play the same way in the next two and avoid the Caps . Leafs have a tough schedule although not sure how hard Tampa will be playing on Thursday.

Who knows ? They have been playing not to lose lately, very tentative game. Also they are not eliminated yet. they win all their games and Toronto loses all of thiers and Bingo. Not very likely but not impossible.

Playoffs !

Sweet

Happy Birthday !!!

Other than the Brad thing we had a blast tonight.

Poor Pasta has a nasty wound near his eye.

I love seeing our boys so happy. Big Z was so excited when he scored :handclap:

I thought Drew S. has a good game.

It was a real team effort which is a very good thing !
