Wow. This incident with Marchand takes away all of his credibility according to NBCSN. They cannot stop talking about it. So Crosby can nearly take a guy's finger off and hit another in the nuts in the same week with no suspension and NBCSN doesn't go into freakout mode.

NBC knows how to write a narrative. Easier to get rivals frothing about Marchand than Crosby. Rather comical.

The major reason why I have stopped following hockey all together.....I really cannot sit down and take the NHL serious enough to allow me to follow it as I once did.

Great win getting a win and not needing help. They did at home win big and playing a 60 min game

So great! What a solid game from our #1C and #2C - Bergy and Krejci. Rask was solid, with his career-leading 8th(?) shoutout of the season. D was great, especially Chara, Miller and McQuaid.

I can imagine the talk before the game. "We can battle till the final game, or we can get into the playoffs now by winning this one effin game tonight."

Now keep winning and secure a good spot to avoid the Caps!
