Our pp was good with Strome....the alignment without him has changed for the worse, Strome used to be at the half wall and work his way into the bumper, trochek just stands there.

Strome is a more offensive minded player than Trocheck. But Strome didn't really make that PP unit much better. But, even slightly more offense from that spot makes a difference. There are better options on the roster than Trocheck.

To be honest, every single team has hot and cold streaks throughout the year. Trust me when I say getting hot early in the season is not a great thing. Of course stringing together losses stings, but it's a lonnng season. I like the way they are playing and I am 100% Messier guaranteeing you, this will turn and the Rangers will get hot and Snowblind will be the only one left complaining.

The problem is that these games count just as much as ones in March and April, and we are going to be sorry if we're playing catch up all season long because of this stretch of an aborted abortion.

Right. When proper contenders go on their cold streaks, they are usually still SOLIDLY in no doubt playoff position. Then when they get hot again it's just piling it on. You DO NOT want to get into a hole in the Metro division. You won't recover.
