Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. SHL and KHL are clearly ahead. Liiga has better top 3 teams but worse depth. Swiss is probably better but not that much. Talked to some finish people who told me that they consider the DEL to be better by now. Probably not that much of a difference IMO.

And then, for fun, where would you rank the AHL?
People hate my take on this but I have the AHL is number 2. Everyone says KHL then SEL and I totally get why but almost all the goalies and D in the NHL were in the AHL before hitting the NHL (including Seider). The only goalie in the last decade to make the NHL without AHL time is Koskinen and that is considered one of the worst contracts handed out in years.

I won't even be remotely shocked if we don't start seeing more Czechs coming out of the German leagues soon...

Has will make the AHL and we'll see how it goes. Kubicek maybe gets drafted and AHL. That might be it for us. We do have a 16 year old who might be good in Svozil.

Really impressed with German's. Peterka did us a solid with a silly penalty. Czechs were flying in the final 2 minutes. Germany needs to regroup and counter punch us to death. If they get the third goal all the air will go out of the building. If Czech's score it could get real interesting.
I hope we win but also would love to see the Germans in the play-offs.

Teply has really impressed me... I wasn't really talking that much about him before tourney but he's looked great.
Raska with a bar early too
Stutzl is the next Hischier
Peterka is great
Dostal needs to tighten up a little... made some great saves in second half.

How 4 refs missed that is unfortunate for Germans.. basically a 2 minute 5v3 and another PP after that could definately have made a big impact for this game
