Agreed. Tonight I really wanted to sit down and examine the players play as a coach and look for positives in the Bruins play.

Chara
C.Miller
Nash
Khudobin
Marchand

...all had great games when you sit down and watch their individual play and shifts.

Think you got the wrong Miller there.

I've said it before, Riley Nash has a role on this team. People are quick to dismiss him as a plug but he's a good pk'er and wins half of his draws while bringing versatility

He's nothing special but he's a useful 4th liner. Huge game to show up on the score sheet tonight.

We didn't have Anton and Nash the last couple years ppl. THE CUP IS OURS

Other day when Leafs beat Bruins on that baloney call late, this board was over run with Leafs fans. I am not going to but love to jump on their board and ask how Anderson played lol

Maybe this is bad, but I am more relieved than anything. Ended the losing streak, hopefully they can now get back on track.

My two cents; start Khudobin against Nashville, in part because of the injury Rask suffered against them earlier in the season. Neither Rask nor Subban have been the same since getting hit in the neck.

Think you got the wrong Miller there.

Actually no. I was particularly looking at Colin Miller and chance he took activating into the play like he did when Cassidy took over. I was also watching for him to make heads up passes, rush with the puck and also jump into the play down deep; the things we want him to do when he is on his game.

Kevan Miller neutralizes plays when he is effective and forces the play to the boards/outside and into the corner where he can utilize his physical play along the boards. He was average in that element tonight but Colin returned to form with his play and the results showed. I really thought he was going to show up on the scoresheet tonight.

As far as Dobby the difference I see in him over what Rask was giving them lately is the aggressiveness, coming out and challenging and cutting the angles. He seemed to make Tavares shoot wide more than any games I can remember.

In fairness to Rask, the defense was far better tonight clearing rebounds then I can remember lately.

Doby definitely reminds you of Thomas when he's in the net. Maybe not in substance but certainly in style: a keyed in Thomas was the toughest goalie to score on in the league because of his bulldog mentality he brought to every scoring chance against. Doby has some of that unorthodox, do whatever it takes approach.

Did it look serious?

Upper body as in shoulder/neck or concussion?

Watched the post game and no one knows what his situation is.Leafs keeping it tight lipped. Leafs have 2 days off and they said he is being evaluated .Never looked to bad to me.But one never knows

I missed the whole game, are those shot counts accurate? Was that the most boring putrid game of hockey of the modern era? I can't even believe I'm reading the box score right.

lol wait, 9 power plays? THAT shot count and 9 powerplays?

I don't even...

Just take the finalscore and run with it. If it makes you feel better, pretend it was because of amazing shutdown defense.....;)

They are defensemen. Primary job is playing defense. There is a reason CMiller gets the least minutes of all defensemen on the team. Only played 12 minutes tonight, hardly one of the best players.

I think 4C is his only effective role in the top 12. He's been no so good as a 3C or 3/4 RW in my opinion.

Nash does enough with out production that he always deserves to dress . It would be like if Moore wasn't producing . I still would never sit him for a Hayes or 2017 beleskey or 55 or 59

Bruins played awesome tonight

Here are my reads

Pasta was much much better tonight . What does this guy have to do to get a penalty called on the other team . I half don't blame him for losing it although it was stupid .

I had to watch the Isle announcers I don't care if they don't yell and scream they are 100 x more bias than Jack.

I hated the refs tonight / enough said

Three games a go I see tons of guys saying scratch nash/ I don't even care if he produces he has played super solid hockey for the last 6 or so games

K.miller was awesome tonight . Rough night for the bruin hb boards haters since him and nash were great .

Good goaltending tonight but I will gladly welcome Tuukka back tyes day if he is good to go.

Is that Brendan Burke? That was painful. I listen to opposition commentators quite often. Most are decent and fun and you get to hear about the other team more. But that was painful.

It was neither the prettiest nor easiest game to watch, but it's all about the outcome. And that was great!

I don't know if the B's play better in front of Khudobin because they feel they have to, or if Khudobin's Thomas-esque 'Battle-fly' style is contagious, and infects the team from the cage out.

Either way, it's working.

As a fan, I'll take the less-talented guy fighting for every start he gets (Khudobin) over the gifted multi-millionaire who often seems disinterested.

Meh.

Might be a little dinged up, that was a nice win.

Man, that Hosang is a flashy player considering his production.

That kid is so fast and shifty in tight spots. Noticeable every shift he was out there. And I recall a trade rumour about him a few months back.

Also, thank God for Riley ****** Nash huh
