Did he play after he was hurt last night ? I don't recall seeing him after that.
Pretty sure he finished the game.

Bonvie is that you?
Kevan Miller has played his best hockey as a Bruin this season. Has been incredibly consistent and anything but a liability. He is a little forgotten when it comes to being adept at fulfilling the role he has been given as a player. His performance has steadily improved night to night as the season has worn on. Could make an argument he is worthy of consideration for a sixth man award.
I actually like what both Kevan and Colin Miller have brought to the table this year. McQuaid as well. I've like the overall game of all 3 players.
That being said, I don't give a player value just because he's good defensively, nor is a purely offensive D-man valuable if he's a disaster in his own end.
I appreciate that Kevan and McQuaid have improved their skating and puck-movement this season, same as I appreciate the improvement in Colin Miller's defensive play.
If you can't appreciate the good things Colin Miller does, and realize he's probably better defensively than you give him credit for, there is nothing I can do.

Folks need to get past this notion that a puck-moving D-man MUST put up points to be effective, when in reality all we're asking is for them to move the puck effectively out of their own zone and into the hands of their forwards as they transition into the neutral zone. Rarely will this result in the puck-moving D-man being the last or 2nd last player to touch the puck before the goal-scorer does. in particular in a league where so little offense is generate off the rush anymore.
Which is why you can give credit to both Kevan and McQuaid's games this year, as they both have done this better.
The fact his TOI is low due to being the 6th D-man on the team, with the least amount of special teams play by not being one of the 4 PK D, nor getting much PP time with Krug and his unit seeing the bulk of it, doesn't mean Colin Miller isn't reliable or he's some sort of liability on the back-end.

Truly amazing how you appreciate the little things Colin apparently does but you don't care if Nash plays perfect if he doesn't produce .
When has Nash ever played perfect?
I never said I didn't think Nash had any good traits. He does do some things well. I've admitted before he's a good PKer/defensive forward, and he's good at face-offs. Usually makes sound decisions with the puck even if they rarely result in offensive chances.
But as a forward, in particular with his ice-time, a level of expected production that up until last night, Nash hadn't provided to justify his place in the line-up, despite there being things I agree that he does well. Good on Nash for stepping up and finally providing some timely offense. That being said, doesn't mean all of sudden I believe he's a guy I want around moving forward.
BOUNCER - Bruins fans? Ewwww -
ME - We beat the Islanders -
BOUNCER - That makes you VIP's
You are a wise man.Watched this one after my Costco Saturday night with Mrs Odaat rather than the B`s game as my frustrations were starting to affect my day to day life and even before the Anderson exit, the Leafs looked like a team who completely took the Sabres too lightly and in all honesty, it appears the Sabres are finally healthy and they are far better than their record indicates
Twas nice to hear the B`s score on the HNIC broadcast
I have no pride, I`ll take whatever you guys/gals forward to me. I did return in time to catch the B`s game but chose the Leafs/Sabres tilt to avoid blood pressure issues.
Rather them give Morrow the chance C Miller's been given. C Miller is not a good player and will be the first to hit the press box when actual quality D men start to arrive.
Terrible passer
Terrible at defending
Terrible at getting pucks on net
Terrible at making a play after he somehow skates it out of his zone
And the most important thing ? He has a Terrible hockey brain, dumb play after dumb play.
I don't want to argue on Nash especially when you summed him up pretty good in your top paragraph , I don't really get why you would constantly want to sit a guy who did that for you considering what your other choices are now but we will let it go . He doesn't get ice time because he is gretzky and I am very sure claude Cassidy and Sweeney all get that . Nash has been bad at times this yr I cant argue that but when I see guys calling for him to be benched after his Toronto and Ottawa games I know they either aren't looking at the little things or don't care .
Did his TOI have an uptick since Cassidy came in?
