Hamonic drags everyone down its insane

Kleven/Matinpalo have played 248 minutes together while Kleven/Hamonic have played 168.

Kleven/Matinpalo have worse expected goal stats and worse high-danger chance stats - they do slightly better on shot counts.

Kleven gets bad results pretty much across the board whether he's with Matinpalo, Hamonic or JBD so he's at least part of the issue here.

I don't really mind his ice time deployment this year but this would have been a good game out of many others to up both their ice times and reduce Hamonics and Klevens.

take too many penalties. Wings at least aren't efficient at converting their chances, so I like our odds better.

I mean, what is your expectation here? He was a 20-25g guy in SJ, that's what we should be expecting here if we play him in a top 6 role, if you were expecting him to be Kyle Conner, that's on you.

It’s going to happen with every coach who has been around and comes from that same school of coaching that all these guys comes from. They’re all friends and they all coach the same. You take care of the vets especially the vets you know. That gives you free with the next vets that you coach and prevents rooms from turning on you they know they’ll keep playing and keep getting paid and can trust you.

Losing sucks, especially against a team that we should beat. The effort was there, Reimer was good. We couldn't capitalize on our chances. The second goal on Forsberg was rough. After the 3rd goal, he made some big saves.

Fortunately we didn't lose any ground in our hunt for the playoffs, pending what happens in the Rangers game. A win against the Wings on Thursday and all will be right again. The sky isn't falling.
