Not only that, he whined in the post-game interviews about Bob "whacking him a couple times. Did you guys see that?!?" Never mind the fact he ran the goalie.

I was embarrassed by the portion of our crowd that booed him in the beginning. Proud of us for giving him a standing O. And by the end, I was right there with everyone else booing the hell outta him.

And to think we tried to build a franchise around this pretender?!? No wonder we sucked for years.

I know. Paper tiger. I tell Rangers fans every chance I get that if your team is playing soft and inexplicably bad given the roster and fans are calling for people to be fired, you better check to see if Rick Nash on the roster. It's mostly to provoke them but I happen to think it's true. If the guy ever wins a cup it will be because of a better than him on the team.

Seriously, he gets raked over the coals on the Rangers boards for being heartless, and we know that about him. Tonight, he decides to show heart by CROSS-CHECKING THE GOALIE and taking on Calvert. Pretender is right, Lee.

Disappointing loss. To get the lead and have it tied up while fans are still celebrating the Foligno goal, damn.

These guys have to quit trying to be the Harlem Globetrotters on ice. Shoot the frickin puck. There were more pass-pass-pass-intercepted going the other way, nothing to show for it.

I liked the energy from them tonight, they created a lot of turnovers and chances from them. Oh well, need two on Long Island.

Guess NYR made the right call in keeping Girardi....an amazing stop on Dubi's stuff attempt late in the 3rd (slow mo showed just how close it was). Playoff atmosphere last 2 games just came up short on back to back nights. A good measuring stick is how the boys come back on Sunday against an also ran in NYI...Playoff teams will take that one....BTW I always have had a lot of love for Nasher but he made it easy for those who feel differently to hate him tonight...almost like he went out of his way to be the villain. Maybe the pressure really did get to him.

I didn't realize it until tonight but between St. Louis, Dorsett, and Zuccarello, the Rangers now lead the league in Smurfs.

You can be homers all you want, but if another goalie did that I'd expect him to do the same action as Nash did. To call it "gutless" like Calvert did is kind of a stretch.

my favorite was guy in front of me saying I shouldn't boo him b/c he wanted to be here...oh yeah??? he was awfully quick to waive that NTC...

we played tough...lost the legs in the 3rd...the back to back showed itself vs a team with 2 1/2 days rest...pick it up Sunday...still game in hand on the Rags

A simple "**** you" is fine. It's not like Bob punched him. He took his stick out of his reach, big whoop.

And the front office did nothing that warranted this?

The whole night was a ****ing disaster. I get to the game 30 minutes early and miss 5 minutes of the first period because of the cluster **** in the ticket office, my fault for doing will call tickets? Oh and I got to sit in one spot for 40 minutes in the parking garage because of god knows ****ing what. Terrible, terrible experience.

Nash was my favorite player, but that coward didn't even acknowledge the crowd. He's not a Blue Jacket, I can't wait until Johansen erases his name from our record books.
