I'll be honest. We get a lucky break, we give up an idiotic goal immediately after (typical). Then Brassard decides he is going to have a flash of brilliance. Those blaming Bob for that one... Well let's just say I'm not.

This skill discussion is kind of dumb (I'm being too kind here). We're not executing and the coaching staff doesn't have the answer. One top of that we can't finish a breakaway to save our collective *****.

I think we're OK at finishing breakaways. Guys like Cam and Calvert need to convert more on their chances, but we got an ice cold killer in Johansen and Foligno/Arty/Dubinsky tend to do well too.

Trust me here, I've watched a lot of Canuck hockey... I know all about cement hands in breakaways.

Lost 2 of the last 3, and both losses at home. You aren't going to make the play-offs that way.

At this point I have zero confidence that they make the play-offs. Hope they prove me wrong.

Richards is simply going to have to ice his best players and let the players decide our fate. RJ should have been in this game. I like what Tropp brings, other than he isn't going to score a goal for you.

My patience with Richards has worn thin.

I tried to give him to benefit of the doubt; but this has got to stop.

Sorry Blahblah, but Bob didn't play that one right. Gotta hug the post with more than your pads.

Now, if you want to make the argument that Bob saved about 10 sure goals, that's another story. But that Brass goal was a screw up.

We've missed about 8 or 9 of them in the last 3 games. Johansen's goal the last game was a partial breakaway. Foligno's was the only one that I can remember in a long time and he doesn't get many.

What about Wiz.....He was right there and done NOTHING to help Bob

Looked bad when I watched it live.......seen replays couple times now and it was inexcusable. Beyond a lack of effort, NO Effort

Wasn't good (and Wiz is back to ****** Wiz) but if we have to blame one guy, Bob deserves it.

This

Tropp doesn't do anything but play "blue jacket" hockey. He has 11 points this season. Why not put Umby in at the third or fourth line

Sorry bud, I won't blame Bob on that one. I've been as hard as anyone on Bob (I still don't think he's a good as everyone out here makes him out to be, not even sure I want him as my long term goal tender); but I'm not going to get on him for that one.

aaaaaaaaaaand my night is ruined. Tropp needs to find the pressbox next game. Nothing against him or what he brings, but 1 goal doesnt win many games at all, and we need as many goals in the lineup as possible.

Re-watched it on Gamecenter to make sure I wasn't just drunk.

Nope. Really really bad. Bob was already in a stationary position near post by the time Brass got the puck. Not a bang-bang play. Bob cheated in with very sloppy body position anticipating a pass.

Very very soft.

What I want to see next game is that abysmal PP completely revamped. Put Jared Boll in there for all I care. Can't. Get. Any. Worse. Might even throw teams off on their PK since now all they have to do is read telegraphed passes and cover Wiz so he can't get his shot off or let Johnson shoot it at their shin guards.

Richards making excuses saying we played hard under "very tough circumstances"...what's he referring to? the back to back? they better get used to it because it's only going to get tougher.

I'm pretty much there with you. I guess we're "cliff jumpers", though.

Let's see, the pro-Nash crowd got a dose of reality tonight, and it's looking more and more like the JK supporters are going to have to defend missing the playoffs using a coveted 2nd round pick. JK's biggest splash has most deserving of a healthy scratch for some time now.

It may be that Richards is not responding well to the pressures of the stretch run with his healthy scratch decisions, too. For me, he's got a longer leash because I do really like how he's affected this team's approach, but I don't understand Umby being scratched either of these games.

We'll be good next year, but I don't see any reason why we shouldn't have made more of an effort to be better this year, too.

Love it - Calvert calling Nash action on Bob "a gutless play"

It all started with the way the Jackets went after him behind the play, and the crowd booing him didn't make it better.

I'm pretty sure Nash wont miss Columbus, to put it that way...

My night is ruined. I thought I've progressed enough from my concussion to finally watch a game and it ends up being this one. I'm so irritated and agitated right now I'm not going to calm down for hours.

I don't blame Bob for this. He misplayed the puck but what about the rest of our ****ing players who COULDN'T PUT THE ****ING PUCK IN THE ****ING NET IF YOU PAID THEM TO. OH YEAH WE DO PAY THEM TO. STOP BEING ****ING FANCY AND JUST DO YOUR ****ING JOB.

Good idea....maybe we could sit Cam and RJ at the same time to play more guys who could score as much using tire irons as they do with their sticks.
