Gibson is very frustrating to play against. What an amazing goalie. Makes the whole game of hockey look boring haha.

Chances have been very low quality for the most part. Caggiula missed an open net.

I actually do like caggiula, but man does he not belong on the main scoring line.

Have they really not tried Keller-schmaltz-garland as a 1st line? Do they not want to because of the lack of size? If they want size to match the skill then I’d much rather have crouse or pitlick there than caggiula.

This is one of my problems with a Tocchet coached team... If you play his system well you're probably not going to score very much.

Last game and this game so far the Yotes have played relatively well, most would say. But 0 goals to show for it. Not the first time this has happened and won't be the last.

Idk maybe I'm just projecting too much. I absolutely hate having him as the coach.

Very Tocchet like to put Hayton on the fourth line with fisch and Larsson.
I am really starting to believe that Tocchet is going to mess the kid’s development up. He’s been moved between lines constantly and been flipping between centre and wing. Give the kid some stability and let’s see what he can do. In my opinion he’s been getting better every game so far - but Tocchet is really jerking him around.

We had a lot of chances and half of this game has been spent in the Ducks zone. The Ducks look completely gassed after being pounded on the forecheck most of the game. This is the stuff that doesn't show up on Chayka's stat sheet but does matter. Gibson is dialed in. That's not on whatever Tocc is or is not doing.

I have likes that they've been trying more shots from the top of the faceoff circles instead of the middle at the point. It's nice to see an adjustment after we had so many middle point shots blocked against Vegas.

I assume this is a Varady or Stillman suggestion.

I'd like to see more chances coming from the slot vs the outside. I'd say a strong majority of the pressure has been from the perimeter.

For the amount of zone time the grade A scoring chances have been low in my eyes.

I don't know why we don't put Hayton back on that line. They looked good at the start of the year. Hayton should be 1LW or middle six C.
