I implore everyone (and know that this will largely fall on deaf ears) to remember to have some perspective and that this is their 10th game in 18 days.
This was a game where it didn’t feel like the legs were there for a bulk of it. If it wasn’t for Schmid, this wouldn’t have been as close of a game as it was for the majority of it.
No one should be happy. Losing a game you had a 2-0 lead in the 3rd is unacceptable. This shouldn’t change your outlook on what the team has accomplished all season.

I’m not worried about this team in the playoffs. They have it and a game like this happens and has no effect on the playoffs whatsoever. But this is frustrating.

Wish we would have lost in OT tonight but we stunk.
Legit one of our lousier games in a while. We looked as bad later in the first Tampa game, but the start to this game was putrid.
This was worse than many of our poor 1st periods we’ve had this season that have been typical.

I still love this team and am grateful for the season we got. That said it hasn't been fun being a Devils fan for most of the part the last month or so. They've kinda sucked ever since the flyers win. Loses against good teams and tight close wins against bad teams. Sure they scored 7 against colorado, but defensively that game was a shitshow from both teams. They outgoalied Carolina, but that's about it. Hughes hasn't been the Hughes we know for most of the games and Bratt has been a no show for almost every game in his last 15 or so games.
