There is no sure loss. Teams don't show up against the Habs frequently. Habs are too good to lose to teams that don't give 100%.
If there is such a thing as a sure loss, this one is pretty close. Im sticking with a blow out, 7-2, etc.

They will be in their end chasing the oilers all night.

You want them to lose, I never watch hoping they lose. If they lose during a rebuild...fine. if they win I am OK with it. I want these kids to experience success, not constant losing.
I agree I find their are a lot of important things that have to continue no matter what win or lose.
Suzuki's consistent play since Monahan's departure.
Slaf continuing to gel with that first line and coming up with some of the gems he's starting to be recognized for.
Caufield getting back on track for 30.
Xhekaj and Guhle continuing to show Growth and Maturity while facing the oppositions toughest assignments.
Roy's progression towards becoming a reliable top 6 in this league.
Goaltending continuing to provide us with key saves at crucial moments.

How as a fan can anyone not think this is far more important than W/L.
I don't see one or two positions in this upcoming draft as critical as I felt they were last season.

They will be up against it tonight. They are in the doldrums of playing out the string of another losing season. And they don't have their inspirational coach. But the Oilers' defence and goaltending isn't stellar and if we play they way we did against Tampa, Florida, Boston, Toronto and Calgary, this game may be closer than many think.

Hopefully another strong game for Guhle. He was great against McDavid last time we faced them.

Was he playing with Mathy back then, cant remember

You guys think too lowly of your team.

Don't forget how close our previous match up was.
Should be a fun game.

Ya they seems to play better when afraid of losing, altho with that line up they should be afraid of losing in every game :laugh:

Wasn't that during the sequence of games the experiment started in.

I'm in love with Ghule but not on the right side, just wished the coaching staff would agree with me
I think they’re training him there for the future. Mailloux isn’t going to move and that’s probably going to be his future defence partner.

Edit: Nope, Mailloux is RH.

Primeau came back down to earth against the Flames and the terrible goalie interference call against Slaf made things look worse on the scoresheet than they actually were.

Agreed. I though we played one of our better games against a team that I believe is on the precipice of a steep decline.
