The problem was going across the middle in your own end with an attacker present when you had a side/boards option. You need the point, you have to eat 18 seconds. Stick break was bad luck, but that is the wrong play x infinity in that situation.

It's a simple play, not a bad decision.

I couldn't watch the first period live, which is the only reason I'm alive because if I had been Mason Lohrei would have killed me on that first Canes goal.

Not to mention Pasta's half-assed attempt to play defense.

Zadorov had plenty of room and time to make that play, just bad luck, which is typical of the way this season has gone.

Actually 3 Bruins were beat on that goal. Lohrei got it redirected off his casual slingshot back to Pasta. Pasta attacked as the last man back and worse circled away. And Korp being deked out of pants across his crease. People love to have whipping boys, but once again it was a team breakdown.

That game *was* a nice microcosm of the season. They played hard and well at times, problems finishing, costly errors at the worst times. I wasn't even upset at the last goal- I actually laughed a little bit because it felt so 24-25 Bruins. It was poetry.

I do not listen to sports talk radio, but I did happen to catch a clip, with Mike Milbury mentioned, and it was the same day, Loheri mishap and he has had more than one some responsibility should fall on the coaching staff, this kid is making the same mistake over and over. All heard was how this Jay Leach is the guy, but sorry don't see it. I want a clean sweep in this coaching staff. Loheri continues to f*** up make the same simple play, needs to be addressed, sorry high offensive skill, but if you give it back in the other end, not good.

Laughable ending, but it turned into quite an entertaining game. The B's were playing well. The Canes' goals were mostly fluky. Bounce off a leg, stick breaking. That fact that we were a few seconds away from at least getting a point from one of the better teams in the conference (and probably would have if not for Zaddy's stick breaking), while missing our top two D men and a top 6 forward, and with a slew of AHLers in the lineup - is actually quite commendable.

Imagine if we end up missing the playoffs by a point, and it comes down to the difference between Zadorov's stick breaking in that moment. Probably won't come to that, but still... lol
