The problem was going across the middle in your own end with an attacker present when you had a side/boards option. You need the point, you have to eat 18 seconds. Stick break was bad luck, but that is the wrong play x infinity in that situation. It's not Zadorov's fault his stick snapped. If people want to blame him for that, they also have to blame Pastrnak for not scoring earlier in the game because his stick broke. It happens, happens too often. Bad shipment of sticks? Maybe try a new vendor going forward.
... but as people have said, that one play sums up Boston's season. What ever can go wrong has.
On the positive side Korpisalo looked good tonight.
It’s the right play under the circumstances tonight. Bruins now projected with the #8 pick and climbing. The problem was going across the middle in your own end with an attacker present when you had a side/boards option. For sure as he is getting only $1.5M on a 1 year deal now.Was
Could they have kept Forbort for half the money they are paying Zadarov ?
Part of that was Carolina knew they were playing against a bottom feeder. Turned it on the last 10 minutes and put the puck in the net twice with one counting. The Bruins looked much faster tonight
Yep, add another
Well we're # 9 on Tankathon this morning so I suppose that's good news??Some things in life are just unexplainable.
This team was doomed to mediocrity, at times in crushing ways, from the start.
I don’t believe in “making your own luck”.
I maintain that the difference between a great team and a mediocre team is often simply 100 or so lucky or unlucky bounces over the course of a 6-9 month long season.
Play out the string, collect some new talent and hope the hockey gods smile on us next season.
That site looks like garbage 22BP.Rumors everywhere

Boston Bruins And Edmonton Oilers Reportedly Set To Make Another Massive Trade: Per Insider
After a deal that saw Trent Frederic heading to the Edmonton Oilers, it appears the Boston Bruins aren't done making deals with themwww.bruinsinsider.com
Thanks, Clode, one of the few that actually witnessed what happened, I just don't get how you can rip this guy for that, Pasta, had a scoring chance blowup, because of a similar stick breakage. Maybe time to go back to wooden sticks. Zadorov, would have liked to crawl in a hole,Stick broke, not sure how thats his fault
That play would have been completed, if not for the stick, and I see no mention of Loheri, turnover, with similar results. The problem was going across the middle in your own end with an attacker present when you had a side/boards option. Really disagree with this . The Bruins played an uptempo agressive forechecking game which really showed in the performance. Some bad luck and the usual issues, bad turnovers and lack of finish was the difference. If they had played this style of hockey for the majority of the season we wouldn't be talking about the tank and selling . We'd be refreshing the deadline day tracker to see who we acquired.Part of that was Carolina knew they were playing against a bottom feeder. We don't know that, but if Jarvis knocks the puck down and his stick doesn't breakThat play would have been completed, if not for the stick.
