Trouba & Tkachuk have a history. Fought in Ottawa after a big hit by Jacob on a Senator, then had that center ice captain fight when the Rangers were reeling earlier in the season.

I bet Ottawa is jacked up for this one. Back to back wins against the Red Wings that basically forced them into a sell off, and Chychrun tracking to make his debut. I expect a spirited game. Harpoon and Watson for the undercard :naughty:
I'd take the Harpur/Tkachuk trade off 3 times tonight .....prefer to keep Trouba on the ice and at this stage he does not need a busted hand .

When I was in college I worked at a couple of pizzerias to help pay my way through school. I don't do it very often, because it's a bit of a process, when instead I can drive 20 minutes & pick up a pie without making a mess of my kitchen.

The top is basic NY cheese. The bottom is Sicilian. You'd like the sicilian since you like deep dish style.

Here's my Margherita...basically Neopolitan with NY style crust.

Margherita without neopolitan crust is an abomination! Have you attempted Neopolitan? Or do you not have a hot enough oven? Do you cook in just a standard oven?

LOL....The oldest pizzerias in the states, such as Patsy's Lombardi's, John's of Bleecker & Totonno's etc all make their version of the Margherita I posted. They took the elements from the traditional neopolitan style & altered the dough to cook in the coal fired bread ovens of the day. Learn some pizza history before you start spouting off!

Here's my photo of John's from 2 weeks ago. You will be hard pressed to fina a better pizza in your lifetime...

This thread is torture considering the fact I'm approaching 48 hours of complete fasting, 0 calories through food nor drinks.

In about an hour & some change I'll be eating pizza :)

Also why are you fasting? Lol.

It’s not a bad practice (I went 3 days once… got bored at that point) but you’re like 3 years old

My favorite ingredients.....pepperoni-Canuck Bacon-Onions-mushrooms-green peppers but not too many -and PINEAPPLE and sometimes a sprinkle of hamburger ......and lots of cheese of course with a nice thick crust topped off with a glass of skim milk . Now that I'm lactose intolerant....I would need at least 3-4 pills LOL......

NHL denies Rangers’ emergency recall after Patrick Kane trade.

"The Rangers will be forced to play shorthanded for the second straight game Thursday night against the Senators, after the NHL denied their emergency recall, but their cap situation is expected to impact the team for the rest of the season.

According to a league source, the NHL found that the Rangers essentially created the emergency recall situation."

"Due to their current cap situation, the Rangers won’t be able to make any regular recalls to AHL Hartford for the rest of the season."

I injured my ankle in hockey, I get my MRI in a few weeks. So I can't exercise right now. I'm normally playing hockey in 3 leagues at once, often back to back games an hour apart. So I'm used to eating like a horse.

I'm a very "all or nothing" kind of person. So I much prefer eating absolutely whatever I want one day, fasting the next; and alternating that; instead of restricting calories every day. If you eat about 3000cal when you're eating whatever you want, it'll be the equivalent of just having 1500 per day which would put me in a deficit even without exercise. Plus the other benefits fasting has on your metabolism, mental clarity, energy, blood sugar, etc. When someone's restricting their calories and having one cheat day per week they're always looking forward to that day. This way you're always either in your cheat day, or your cheat day's tomorrow!

It's funny how often the consensus changes when it comes to dieting as this would be called "crash dieting" starving yourself etc several years ago. Now a lot of nutrition/fitness experts recommend it

I will be breaking diet and ordering greek food tonight

Team is gonna be both gassed and amped for this game. Gassed because short handed and back to back, amped for obvious reasons

The fancy stat charts on Kane are stupid as hell when it basically says he is a replacement level player lol even if he defense turns out to still be not good at all, those charts are absurd when it depicts that

Congrats to Big Game Brass. I'll always fondly remember him and Pouliot with the "OT Goal so nice they scored it twice" against PIT in 2014 Game 1 and the do or die hat trick in Game 6 Tampa in 2015. He certainly earned the nickname.
His 2015 game 1 goal against the pens right off the faceoff is seared into my memory. Coming off the presidents trophy and then scoring seconds into the playoffs I thought it would be our year.
