Btw I can't believe some people thought I'd abandon the team after the big trade lol.. and miss these GDT's?

Shitty return aside, this really worked out perfect for everyone. He's finally out of your guys hair and he ended up in my city of all places so I'm closer to him than ever before. And now I can just focus on wanting my team to win instead of worrying about whether he'll get scratched or not and the constant competition for a spot.

It's absolutely hilarious that he ended up in Vancouver, you couldn't make this up, it's almost like Drury is aware of the memes and was doing me a favor. Hockey always has a weird way of the stars aligning, some of you are aware of my trip to NYC with my mom when she was given months to live, Canucks coincidentally being in NYC during that trip and then my favorite player since I was little (Nash, who my mom emailed the Jackets when I was a kid and we were poor, Nash reached out to us and I got to go see him play in Vancouver, meet him, got signed stuff, etc) being traded to the Rangers. Then the emotional cup runs with MSL and his mom passing, his big goal on Mothers Day. And Zucc having an injury that resulted in a similar thing to my mom with the brain bleed

Because they have deemed the situation premeditated from the beginning -- going after Kane, we put ourselves in the cap crunch -- despite the Lindgren injury and Miller suspension being unforeseen. It is based on the intent.

Also, I’m so amped for Kane. I just think he’s made for Broadway. Maybe a game or two to get acclimated, but he’s gonna bring it.

What happens if he’s a beast and we end up facing Carolina? Canes vs Kanes? Caniacs vs Kaneiacs?

It's like some new antitrust bent by the league. They want to punish us for monopolizing both Tarasenko and Kane, arguably the two most coveted players at the deadline.

Worth noting that short term 10 game IR doesn’t help the Rangers cap. Lindgren would have to be shut down for the entire remaining season to gain cap space to call someone else up.
