I love Dishoom, but after having Indian food in India... there are levels.

The Hyderabadi biryani was so absurdly good.

I agree. You have to go to the country of origin to experience the best.

Should have gone Chicago style for tonight.
Lmao there's a place in Vancouver called Slice of Chicago and holy shit it's the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. You guys would say maybe Pizza Hut isn't so bad if you tried this.

These breadsticks were literally RAW

Just a shitload of bread, not made properly at all. And I actually like Chicago style deep dish although I'm sure that's blasphemous to you New Yorkers. One I had at a place called Windy City Pie in Seattle was great.

Chicago deep dish pizza is pure trash....it's cracker crust caserole with 5 lbs of mozzarella. It's no secret mid-westerners aren't slim for a reason.

I am not a fan of deep dish but can confirm as a Chicagoan that is a fail.

Crust should be much thinner and less doughy:

Legit homemade pizza is better than all. And I'm not talking Altoona, Pa style homemade pizza. Trust me don't look it up.
Homemade Neapolitan is very difficult, the one I posted that I made I'd say is just passable but even that requires skill. They're cooked in 90 seconds so you need to have great precision to cook it evenly and get nice leoparding on the crust without burning it. Having friends over and watching them attempt to cook Neapolitan pizza is pretty good entertainment. Here were some of their attempts:

You need to put some more flour under the dough when placing it on the peel & then you need to turn 180˚ it while it's in the oven.

Here's some of my past pizza creations...

THOSE ARE NOT MINE THOSE ARE MY FRIENDS LOL
That was mine: (still not great, but significantly better)

What style are those you made? NY? Can't tell the thickness of the second one due to the pan, but the first one reminds me of the ones I had in NYC. Looks excellent, how long have you been making pizza?

Mineola station sucks I had no idea where to park almost missed the train. I was running around barefoot asking where I could buy a train ticket (can’t download the app unless I’m on WiFi) and some lovely woman gave me hers.

When I was in college I worked at a couple of pizzerias to help pay my way through school. I don't do it very often, because it's a bit of a process, when instead I can drive 20 minutes & pick up a pie without making a mess of my kitchen.

The top is basic NY cheese. The bottom is Sicilian. You'd like the sicilian since you like deep dish style.

Here's my Margherita...basically Neopolitan with NY style crust.
