Screens can also mess up sleep patterns, I try to not read on the phone in bed / bedroom (Kindle/Kobo readers are fine) but sleep is very finicky and I agree with @Mrb1p that being a good sleeper is not appreciated enough by those who have it.
Sleep hygiene is a thing though and the key is to try and maintain consistent habits just like in any other aspect of life. Go to bed early and get up early if at all possible.
 
Anyone else experienced sleep paralysis at least once? Personally it started when I was in my mid-twenties, once of twice a month. Not fun to say the least.
Yeah I used to get this recurring sleep paralysis demon that was a demon baby/doll lol and lately I've been having nightmares about school shootings which is even worse.
