We need Egod tonight. He was always a much more effective center than winger.
Glad to see Rakell at practice.
Call me crazy but I'd like ERod on the left side on pp1
Ok your crazy

That’s good news.
I wonder if he didn’t know the severity of the injury.
But he jumbled them up anyway by moving Carter up so it's not like he avoided that.
I mean I guess maybe he saw L2 as some kind of indominable force he couldn't futz with but that would be a truly odd take haha
I don’t know why PP don’t just take advantage of the odd man rush and instead setup all the time. They're due!
That's what I think he believed: Malkin was fine enough and could stabilize. Carter would be ok with the good wingers
Oops...
Minny is a tough team to play against but STL stuck to what the do well. They are a real solid team all up and down that lineup.
Backend looks strong as well
Literally every player on our team not named Sid and Evgeni. It's tough to play playoff hockey when you continually ice 16 Lady Byng candidates
I want us to blow these clowns out by about 7 goals, then for someone to crosscheck Trouba in the face, knocking his teeth out and making him even uglier than he already is
That’s good news.

Not sure if the crowd tonight is going to be apprehensive or in a complete fury. Probably would behoove the Pens not to allow an early goal.
Skating in a workout is not an indication that there are no symptoms. Players often undergo an intense off-ice or on-ice workout and have symptoms following the workout. It's part of the testing process. May I remind you that Rakell has been undergoing workouts and skating, yet he has still not been cleared. My educated guess. They assume it was a concussion. Sid is telling the doctors he doesn't have symptoms so they allow him to exercise on the ice today and monitor the effects.
If he continues to show no symptoms he may be released back to gameplay...maybe not in time for game 7 but if we're lucky to advance, be back next week.
Them letting him skate less than 48 hours after means he's saying he has no symptoms. They wouldn't allow him on the ice otherwise.
No, it's a reflection of the fact that every concussion is different, even for the same player.
He looked ok. His line was pretty tough to play against as expected. You didn't answer my question. I know all that.
Wow I've always wanted to do this....Ok your crazy
Rakell didn't participate in line rushes or special teams drills. Zucker was a GTD a couple games ago and still didn't play until the next game.Rakell is a GTD so I disagree.
You don’t just suddenly lose concussion symptoms in a few hours.
I think they've updated the protocol since then, though. It is a 6-step process and the language from the league says:Crosby skating is a decent sign that he doesn't have severe symptoms, anyway. IIRC last time he got concussed in the playoffs, he only missed one game.
One last thought, the upside to Elbows now considered as a hockey play by the league; anyone can do it!!
Heinen, Erod.....Ruh.......it doesn't matter how soff or small you are. This may be the great equalizer for smallish teams like the Pens. I certainly hope they're aware the NHL is now giving them green light to extend those arms every shift!!
Corporate tickets are usually used for the regular season. Your business people aren’t going to expense tickets for a game people want to pay attention toFor a typical game it's the quietest, least intimidating crowd in the league -- a few true fans outnumbered by the corporate business suit types and by the children with their heads down all game, twiddling around on their iPhones.
Tonight is not a typical game.
