What a game. Some of those plays were just beauties too.

I want to give a hat tip to Hartnell's passing. His skate pass to Foligno was some beautiful effort, and his cross-ice to Foligno at the end, though it won't get an assist, messed up the Sharks coverage and led to the goal. Hartnell-Johansen-Foligno looks damn good to me.

Hartnell is sooooo much better than Umberger

We play like a young, very talented, team. Quick scores. Ups and Downs. Boneheaded mistakes. Amazing plays.

Best thing; we seem to be learning. We make mistakes and have the let downs but not the same ones over and over again.

On to Anaheim

Wow!!

To score less than a minute after getting a goal waved off is amazing!

I was of the thinking that 2 points on this 3 game swing would be just fine. That's what I get for thinking! LOL

6 helpers for Hartnell in 6 games. 9 points for Foligno.

Whathisface #19 looks like he might be a keeper.

Of all games i've watched this was the most satisfying win easily, especially after that terrible no goal call for the hattrick. :handclap:

Great game.

We need our other lines to chip in besides the Johansen line. Yeah Letestu is working hard (and he got 2 tonight!) but guys like Calvert, Cam, Wennberg (rookie I know but he ain't gettin' much slack from me) and Anisimov need to step up.

Also, our defense is really, ummmm, weird. And +/- is stupid, but Wennberg's -7 is kinda concerning. For comparison, Johnson's -4.

What a ****ing game. For them to be able to play like this without Jenner Dubinksy and Murray is pretty impressive.

And I didn't think it was possible for a player to go from overrated to underrated in 6 games is unreal. It's pretty obvious to see who watches Johansen and who doesn't on these boards. His dominance is undeniable at this point.

Also, has anybody noticed how the team acts around Johansen? It seems like they respect him a ton.

Like, he makes these calls on face-offs and nobody second guesses him. He totally calls the shots and runs the plays it seems. In the 2nd period, he just looked over to Hartnell and said something, and without saying anything Hartnell just skated right behind him for the draw. Players (like Foligno and Erixon earlier) were chatting with each other, but Johansen just seems to tell people what to do and they do it. He basically QB's the entire thing when he's on the ice. I mean, we kinda saw it with Nash, but Nash wasn't a center and didn't really talk to other people.

If he plays like this all season, he probably deserves the stupid money he was asking for.

Next orders of business for the Blue Jackets:

1. Find Brinks truck
2. Fill it with money
3. Back it up to the Johansen residence

We can't afford to lose this guy.

What would the record be without him? 1-5? 2-4 at best I'd think.
