This reminds me of when I was in Edmonton. 80-90% of the jerseys and other gear people were wearing was McDavid-based. I get it, he's a hell of a player, but I don't think it's healthy to have that much of the fanbase be obsessed with one guy. To be fair to the Oilers, their main store at the arena did have a lot of stuff representing other players, but the fans mostly just wanted one thing.

At least McDavid has achieved a lot already, Bedard's just getting started. Again I get the hype, but it feels way over the top.

Nah they showed the toronto/Caps game in full, I think they have espn2 specifically for the frozen frenzy hopping thing.
