Solid effort. Took a little while to get going but took over in the 2nd and then finished it off quickly in the 3rd. Defense except for Lindholm was solid again, didn't give Chicago much in the way of good looks. Sway was great, we have such dominance in net. Keep it rolling.

It would be wise. For Marchy and some others. Doesn't just have to be missing games either. Giving guys some practices and days off and things like that. Monty didn't do enough load management in the back half of last season when there was ample opportunity to do so. Wouldn't go so far as to say the Bs paid for it, but it probably didn't help.

Cassidy's load managing Vegas already. Smart to play the long game.

NBA is trending towards giving players off games for load management. 82 is a lot of mileage. I think at times certain NBA players take too much time off but wouldn't be surprised if in the coming years NHL players start shying away from playing all 82.

Some maintenance days in the dog days of February shouldn't hurt anyone.
