• Having a front office not manage a talent pipeline so that you can balance cost controlled guys and tope end talent means you're going to screw up your offseason allocations.
• Overpaying goalies is a team killer
• Trying to take b tier talent and shape it as a tier doesn't work
• Building a team with size but never having them take the body is fruitless
• Having a power play that can't move the puck means you don't really have a power play
• Not coaching to keep guys from turning it over high in the offensive zone repeatedly means you're going to give up a lot of bad chance

This team is bad top to bottom right now. There needs to be some house keeping done.

The entire third period, minus the Pasta goal, was a reel of "how not to close out a game with a lead." Started with Wahlstrom taking a terrible offensive zone penalty that flipped the game ... once the Leafs scored the PPG, the B's didn't touch the puck for several minutes until it was tied.

They finally get their legs under them, get a lead, then as soon as Stolarz was pulled, there were at least 3 failed clears with full possession. The constant turnovers just kept letting Toronto come back until they tied the game. Just a brutal last 20 minutes.

Leafs only had to play a period and a few min to win.

Walstrom insertion collosal coaching mistake and then stapled to bench so playing with 10 forwards. Basically, coach played two lines with 6 forwards over 20 min of ice time.

Blowing a 3 goal lead to the Laughs in the Garden when you’re in the playoff race is embarrassing. Leafs spent half the 2nd period in the penalty box so can’t blame the refs here.
