A strong playoff round against Florida is excellence? Fools gold for this fan. I would have kept the vezina winner.

I hope he's traded this year otherwise bruins are f d. Please save this someone.

If you want a save, call Jeremy Swayman.

That’s because you aren’t the one who gave him that contract in the first place…..

He’s not getting moved.
Because I was not in the position to give him that contract, but if I was, he would not have that contract would not have been even considered.

Absolutely bump time.

He was a monster last night. And has really found his game of late.
Eh, he's still inconsistent. Two starts ago he let in 6 against Buffalo and two of them were wrist shots from outside the dots, but he has been good more often lately and he certainly was brilliant last night.

His more frequent brilliant starts give me confidence he'll be back to normal next season.

Last night another example of the inconsistency. He had to absolutely have Whitecloud's shot.

He seems like his old self from last year. This team plays like crap in front of him. He can score for them. I’m not looking at the crease as a problem.

His contract is part of the problem with what is in front of him.

Not entirely his fault. But would certainly expect a couple more saves from him. I’m writing this season as of now.
Everything done should be geared to next year. Sway will be much better next year, of that I have no doubt!

Whether he gives any effort or not, he still gets his money. Low character player. I'd eat a loss in a transaction just to get out of his contract and get him out of the room.

Silver lining perspective - Swayman is having a down year in a season when prime Hasek couldn't drag this team into being a genuine contender. So really his performance hasn't cost the Bruins anything they otherwise might have had.

The next two years will tell us whether this has truly been a good or bad deal for the Bruins. Same goes for Elias Lindholm. And Zadorov. They're not trading him. No-one's giving a proper good goalie back in some sort of swap. or via some other deal. And the UFAs this year are Hill, Allen, Georgiev, Vanecek, Andersen, Forsberg, Vejmelka, Vladar, Samsonov and Lindgren. And so on. Whoopee. Very little to place any faith in there.

No. They give up Sway and they're done for years unless they pull off some sort of super stellar move. Not realistic. So either he gets his act together and starts properly earning his coin or Boston most likely ends up well and truly mired in mediocrity or worse. Like him or hate him, for the sake of the team he needs to pull through.

I think people truly forget just how good Hasek was in dragging those Buffalo teams to the playoffs and eventually a SCF.

Regardless. I can’t escape the thought that one of the best to do it ever in Hasek has the same amount of Stanley Cups as Matt F’n Murray.

It took Hasek to go to a great Detroit team to finally get his two cups.

I say all that to say this. If the best in the world can’t drag a mediocre team to a SCF win, BUT, a great team can drag Matt F’n Murray to two SCs….. which is more important, the great goalie, or the great team?

reminds me of a mix between tony robbins and stuart smalley
