I think if Drury agreed with you it would have happened.

It's a bit more complicated than that.

Not easy to justify sitting a guy who is making 3.6 a year and this organization loves nothing more than to give shitty veterans all of the leash.

The only way he isn't playing here is if he gets hurt or traded. It really doesn't matter if he has a half dozen guys behind him who are better players than he is.

They constantly pass from center of the ice to the boards when entering the zone... It's infuriating.

Get between the dots... Please....

I'm outta here. I am going to focus on the game and not be distracted. I hope you all figure out how to make the Rangers a good team.

It kind of does. Most scoring is on the rush.

It's not just skating. Kakko isn't a threat off the rush because he also has no offensive instincts and all of his production comes pretty much by happenstance when he establishes a good cycle.

That's not reliable production.
I don't think most of Rantanen scoring is on the rush either.

I'm not disagreeing with what you are saying and comparing Kakko to Rantanen is not fair to Kakko either, Rantanen is literally a top-3 (or at the least top-5) winger in the NHL. He has way better vision, way better shot than Kakko. I just think that Kakko's skating could be improved still a bit, and just play him with cycle oriented teammates and it's going to be good.
