What's the difference between Barclay Goodrow and Tanner Glass?

Goodrow was a much better player than Glass, I don’t think that’s a fair comparison. But hes brutally slow now, for whatever reason, he can’t keep up. He’s done.

He’s been a hockey player for 23 years, and his skating hasn’t gotten any better since he made it to the nhl. I think he is what he is at this point. Which is fine but he’s not going to be a good scorer. Hes not a threat off the rush.

Being not a threat from the rush doesn't mean you can't be a scorer.

For real, Rantanen isn't that much better of a skater than Kakko is, at least in my opinion. He scored 55 goals last year.

I'm not saying Kakko is going to do that, Rantanen has an elite shot and Kakko doesn't. But you don't need elite skating to be effective as a winger.

For real, Rantanen isn't that much better of a skater than Kakko is, at least in my opinion. He scored 55 goals last year.

It makes it a lot more difficult. I don’t know I’ve watched Rantanen a lot and he moves a lot better than Kakko and his skill is on another level. Stickhandling. Shot. Vision. Makes plays on his backhand routinely.

It kind of does. Most scoring is on the rush.

It's not just skating. Kakko isn't a threat off the rush because he also has no offensive instincts and all of his production comes pretty much by happenstance when he establishes a good cycle.

That's not reliable production.
