I just want to see boys going all out, showing emotions and will to battle, that's all i expect from them. Good game of hockey.

Beat me to it, but it looks like the Bruins are offering exchanges to a "future game". That's a reasonable solution that puts the onus on the people traveling to make an informed decision about getting to the game (and returning home) safely.

(That means you, LadyFan! Be safe, and if you make it there, I hope you get there safely and cheer twice as loud! If you don't make it there, none of us will think any less of you.)

Of course, I'm not sure what that means for the secondary market. I have a feeling they won't accept a PDF from StubHub, even if it's unused; you probably have to be the "primary ticket holder" to get your ticket exchanged. They should make that clear, but I get that it's not really on the Bruins to ensure that secondary market buyers/sellers are taken care of.

BOSTON - The Boston Bruins announced today, February 9, that Thursday's game between the San Jose Sharks and Boston Bruins at TD Garden, NHL Game No. 802, will be played as scheduled.

The Boston Bruins are aware of the severe weather in Boston and the surrounding New England region, and how it impacts fans planning on attending tonight's game. Considering the circumstances, the Bruins organization asked the NHL to postpone tonight's game and reschedule for a later date this season. The NHL indicated that the remaining schedules for both teams, as well as TD Garden availability, does not allow for this game to be rescheduled. As such, the Bruins and Sharks were directed to play tonight's game as originally scheduled.

Recognizing the impact and hardship this has on fans who were hoping to attend the game, the Bruins will be offering every fan who had tickets for tonight's game the opportunity to exchange their tickets for a future regular season Bruins game between now and December 31, 2017. Details on how to exchange tickets will be posted on BostonBruins.com on Friday, February 10.

Fans still planning on attending tonight's game are encouraged to take public transportation.

I'm happy to hear the news for all you folks who have tickets! If the weather is looking bleak still closer to game time, then stay home!

So how does this "ticket exchange" work? Pick a game you want to go to and the Bruins will give you whatever is available from the box office?

I wonder if it has to be this year, or if you can actually wait for a time when the Bruins are competitive

I'll be there tonight. But using public transportation ugh. Boys better ****ing show up.

I actually will give JJ props. He's offering different tickets. There's no difference between that and cancelling if you ask me.

They will announce it tomorrow.

Interesting.

I sold these tickets to a co-worker, at face value, for a Christmas gift. I have no intention of eating the cost, or giving him another pair this year.

Wonder how the team will handle that.

If the game must go then on make it count B's. Need wins and need them now. Let's see if the players got the message with Claude's dismissal. As Marchand said, it's on the players as their performance was the reason that he was let go.

For those traveling to the game, stay safe. A night at a hotel may be a good option to consider should the storm intensify or transit shuts down while you are at the game. Never know, Fenway may even put you up for the night if you ask nicely. Offering to do GDT's in return is of course a good way to get you to the front of the line.

Let's Go Bruins!

I'm actually pretty excited to see the B's play tonight. I'm expecting big things!

The Pens changed coaches mid season and ended up winning the Cup last year... :naughty:

They say it's supposed to lighten up at 7 ish unless something changed recently. I'm expecting my trip home to be easy. But I'm taking public transportation though
