The breakdowns aren’t as glaring and the team seems to have more backbone. They’ve battled back in a lot of games to still get the win despite playing poorly. They don’t seem as spirited when Geo starts. Just something that *appears* to be the case from my couch. I certainly don’t think Geo is super popular in the room.

They don't seem as spirited because Geo isn't as good as Shesterkin. It's easy to look spirited when your goaltender is so good he can mask all of the breakdowns and miscues, and then they get a PP and score a goal and somehow pull out a win.

Georgiev playing like shit and their goalie playing lights out; while Panarin is not focused on hockey whatsoever right now, we don't have an actual 3rd line, and are missing several middle 6 players, means that the sky is falling and everyone goes into idiot mode again on here

They're *more* glaring. That's part of the reason, not to take anything away from Igor, that he's putting up historic stats.

They appear to have more backbone because they're winning games.

I've been watching hockey and listening to hockey fans for almost 30 years. Heart is interchangeable with "we won" and soft is interchangeable with "we lost."
