The team doesn’t seem to play for Geo, and he’s also somewhat of a known/rumored malcontent. Lots of guys liked Tony in the room. Geo was a catalyst in that whole breakdown. Geo also seems like a poor sport whenever the team congratulates Shesty for a win. It’s possible the guys don’t really like him and just don’t work as hard for him. I get that the third goal he had no chance on, but the team isn’t the same when he plays. Igor’s ice cold confidence either imbues them with confidence, or they just play harder for him because they love him.

Or it's possible they do this every night, Shestyorkin is having the best season since Hasek's peak, and Goergiev is not doing that.

Man, you guys thinking this team is intentionally sabotaging their chances at winning games because their backup isn't as good as their starting goalie are something else.
 
I turned this game off. This team actually played in the first but have completely given up in the second. f*** these overpaid pieces of shit.

Fighting isn't grit. None of those 3 ever said f*** it and just had a shift where they made someones life hell. They could do it on occasions but those occasions were never "we're getting dummied time to get the boys going".

You say this like it’s a bad thing. It’s irrelevant. The backup goalie will play zero games in the playoffs.

The breakdowns aren’t as glaring and the team seems to have more backbone. They’ve battled back in a lot of games to still get the win despite playing poorly. They don’t seem as spirited when Geo starts. Just something that *appears* to be the case from my couch. I certainly don’t think Geo is super popular in the room.
 
I don't have problem with Jones. Just starting in the league, that stuff will happen. I still take his ability to break out over Nemeth. We should have at least a couple of goals in this game. It shouldn't be 3-0. That's the problem
