Post-Game Talk: GAME 52 - THE BEAR goes over Niagara Falls - Sabres 7 BRUINS 2

Everyone's production is down ... I like what I see from him in comparison to the rest of the roster. I would be surprised if Hampus and/or Charlie don;t help with production. This is what I'm going to base my final judgement on. There's a massive difference between watching a guy like Coyle and ALindholm. One works hard to create and defend and the other is nowhere to be seen.
Let’s face it a lot of guys had career years last year. Now they are back to thier usually career averages. Particularly Coyle who is usually a 15-20 goal guy.

Is your ISP Rogers or Bell??

We've had trouble with both services over the years (and both customer services suck).
We settled for Sasktel for the home (although my wife kept Rogers for her phone) and their internet has been flawless. * knocks on wood *

I hear Starlink is the cheapest and most reliable, but haven't looked into them yet.

Good luck!
We use Execulink but the infrastructure is owned by Rogers, so when we need service to the actual physical equipment, it is Rogers who is sent out. It doesn't matter who we go with. We are in a small town, so they don't care as much as the more populated areas. Our phones are with Virgin, which is owned by Bell, so that when we inevitably lose service, at least we don't lose phone and internet at the same time.

See, I don't think they are lazy as a general rule. I think they just have a team that for the most part doesn't work well together. Something is getting lost in the distance from the coaches whiteboard to the ice. Whether it's IQ, poor coaching, poor player chemistry, not enough talent to execute what is being asked of them, bad fits for roles (maybe all of the above), I don't know, but I don't agree that it's for lack of trying for the most part.
They have had goals scored on them during line changes, including last night, that laziness played a part in. Two forwards amongst 88\18\39 lolly gagged to the
bench on the change. It resulted in Thompson having no one within two strides of him to wind up and crank in a goal.

That's why I said 'for the most part.' They have their moments, as do pretty much every other team and player in the league. But overall, I do not see laziness and lack of effort being a primary issue for the club.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but this game was 60-40 in favour of the Bruins on the deserve-to-win meter.

Buffalo had 3.37 expected goals and scored 7. It would appear that Swayman was atrocious.
Is that Deserve O Win Meter in the same room as Romper Room's Magic Mirror?

I kid, but does that meter factor in that its Vinnie Littieri failing on open net feeds
rather than actual NHL players?

I was only able to watch the highlights. I saw Swayman let in goals from spots where the goalie would generally be expected to make the save.
Swayman gets shit on here because he held out but that was on Sweeney not his agent, who gave them that power in negotiations. Every goalie let's in bad goals but not many get the same abuse Sway does here.

Lol what was that
That would be the 2024-25 Boston Bruins. An unstoppable juggernaut that is so offensively-gifted they can afford to let potential assets like Lysell and Merkulov rot in the minors while the big club continues to stack Ws on top of Ws and dominate in every statistical category, most notably the goal differential.

Yeah, but he'd only waive for Boston so it's not like Buffalo had any leeway.
Well it was still at the deadline and so knows when that van happen again.

You also said they shouldn't add and you didn't differentiate a hockey trade as opposed to strictly rental. If you had I agree with you.

The only way to send a message now days is for a coach to tell the guys not giving there all is to take off their gear and stay in the room . I would play with 2 lines and 4 dman and get slaughtered then use lazy ass skaters who are just collecting a pay cheque. The Bruins have very little talent but for every team there is hustle and moving your feet. Give an honest effort and we as fans could handle some of these losses. But to not show up against the worst team in the eastern conference and get severely out huddled is a terrible look.
