I thought Letesu and DMac were our best players on the ice. If some of the guys on the higher lines played like L & D did, we would have scored more than 2. DMac is in a zone right now and Letestu is not far behind.

I even talked about the quality of shots in the second by Carolina in another post. Frankly they weren't all that tough of saves, the one by Kamisarek (sp) was about the best chance they had (if that was even in the second).
I am pretty sick and tired out people picking things out of posts and misrepresenting what I say. If you are going to quote me, have the decency of reading and comprehending. I have no idea why I have to defend things I didn't say or even imply.
Once again, Bob was crap in the third. He didn't work hard most of the night. We managed the game fairly well most of the game. I don't share your conclusion we played like **** in the second. 7 of those shots were on that PP and I didn't get too nervous during that barrage.
Once again, we sustained a lot of play in their zone. We played hard. I thought we got better quality scoring chances, if not enough of them. We also got some piss poor officiating. We didn't play with the urgency we needed to until Carolina scored that second goal. The game should have went to OT, at the worst. We played good defense the vast majority of the night.
Yes, I am pissed that Bob has sucked the last two games he's played in. I am sure as hell not going to apologize when he is currently the highest payed player in our lineup and a Vezina winner last year. Expectations are too high for that nonsense.
To be fair, #19's line had a lot of sustained pressure and quite a few chances. The other two lines were a bit more spotty. #17's line has been weak the last two or three games.
Horton is making some poor decisions with the puck letting teams make transition. Not a huge deal, but he needs to start cleaning that up as he gets a few more games under his belt.
It's probably time for Richards to change up the 2nd and 3rd lines and bit. I don't think Calvert and Atkinson are playing all that well 5 on 5 right now. Not really bad, but not to the level we need them too. I suppose he could let them work things out, but a change of pace to start the game wouldn't be a bad idea.
An all kids scoring line with Jenner in the middle might be fun for a few shifts to get some energy back to Atkinson and Calvert in 5 on 5 play.
Cap wise yes. Salary? Wiz is a little higher in pure salary this year. He's tied with Horton at 5 million in salary.
He's currently the highest player in salary and cap for next season.
