Price whining against about our lack of scoring, OVER and OVER, rick ball basically called him out on it, said we scored 12 goals in 3 games against the oilers, that's 4 goals a game.

Price kept on repeating himself about 5 times, ball kept on shutting him up.

Yes, Blake Price is unlistenable when he gos on these kinds of tangents.

Booth was ghost...Hansen and Higgins underwhelming lately, like to see Sestito get more ice time with Lain next game.

Gillis needs to add 2 of E.Kane +S.Ott + R.O.R

Price is a Canucks hater most the time.
usually find him unlistenable.

Yea, I find a difference in opinion fine when it comes to talk radio, but there are few more nauseating things than Blake Price when he latches onto a point and won't let go.

What?! I don't get it.

Canucks wanted retribution on Moore... Bertuzzi broke Moore's neck and ended his career.

I think its impressive of Eakins actually that he's not all about the retribution and doesn't want his players to attack or fight an unwilling Kassian

I like Ott's game and think he would be a good fit in this system. He's about as hard on the puck and difficult to play against as anyone in the league. Wins a ton of puck battles and always finishes his checks. With that said, I don't think the Canucks are close enough to contender status to even think about moving the youth it would take to get Ott. If Ott hits free agency though, make him an offer. And IMO Gillis would.

Retribution for what, scoring a sweet goal on them? Or revealing how sh*tty a team Edmonton is?

Well there those and there's the fact he broke Gagner jaw that they're still crying about. I look forward to Edmonton trying to get redemption on Kassian.

LOL love it.

Thanks for the welcome as usual.

Maybe I should stop watching the Canucks so they stop growing on me. :P

We kindly request that you keep watching. :D

Hmm... so is I understand the parallel here... Eakins is basically stating that his team wants to attack Kassian and end his career?... But they have to be careful about it?

That's terrible. Eakins is a champion of clowns.

Sure but that was a long time ago, are they still whining about that ACCIDENT? The one Kassian APOLOGIZED for?

And Edmonton hates Gagner anyways, they think he's a soft, defensively useless, overpaid semi-plug. So who the hell cares?

Yea Oilers reports really want revenge on Kassian and Eakins isn't biting, kinda like how he handled that.

I always wondered how bad the line-up would have to be to become about like an Albertan team? It's getting close. I think if you took Kesler out, the Canucks could move to Lethbridge and fit right in.

I notice the team seems a ton happier with Luongo in net. This is a big value-added bonus. Luongo is having a great return, again. It's amazing, really. He seems to be ascendant, too. I hope he is hot at the Olympics.

The last Olympics caused this team to go on a long, long roadtrip. They returned a tight unit, ready for anything. They failed to get management support and the surge died. This year features similar obstacles. The team has been responding well. This is what Cherry was talking about. A team forged in the fire of competition is the one to back in the playoffs. Teams that arrive untested do not have the time to build momentum or an identity. Teams already sporting the winning together attitude have an almost impossible to overcome advantage. LA arrived with a new coach and a fresh outlook and they were unbeatable. The Canucks, led by Tortorella can do this.

Even without any additions they can run deep in the post-season. If they scoop a young signable guy or two, their chances become even better. That's probably not happening but that's no problem for this team, apparently. They are adept at maxing out potentials. They might not need anybody. They might convert the seven Ferraro mentioned into Tortorella favorites.

Bieksa on Lain: "Maybe he would have scored in his first game if he'd played more than two seconds."

Way to go Juice.

Kassian mocked Gagner when he was wearing facial protection, so that didn't help either. And yes they're still mad, just like how our fan base likely would be upset still too if that happened to one of our players.

I think Ott or Legwand would be great signing for the 3rd line center ala Malhotra but at this point it would be pointless unless we were adding two of Vanek, Moulson or Cammi.

Third line center is not the what's holding this team back, a lack of scoring forwards is.
