Is this game not televised? Sportsnet site says it’s on Sportsnet West but it’s not in my TV listings, and I don’t see it showing up on Prime either…

Bringing their moms to Edmonton in January seems unnecessarily cruel.

I feel like the Oilers usually plan theirs when they are going to somewhere warm/nice.
It was +5C today. Probably as warm as Seattle. How warm you want? hehe

Hint moms loves shopping anyway. Their idea of road trips would be WEM or Mall of America in Minneapolis.

The moms also get to see a real team, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl and a real NHL arena. Basically everything gonna look great compared to Seattle.

The Oilers have had many success stories signing FAs. Just because JS has had this “experience” doesn’t mean others won’t sign in Edmonton. Gee, some potential astute FAs might even look in and say they can understand why Edmonton isn’t playing Skinner.

Even since he signed, the Oilers have been the first choice of Kapanen and Klingberg to sign and restart their careers. Hardly suggests that it’s not a preferred spot to sign as a FA.
Didn't we claim Kapanen off waivers from the Blues??

In the past, I was with you. But lately I think he's doing it moreso to develop chemistry on the other lines so that when he needs to go nuclear, it's not one line pushing the flow then the rest hanging on for their lives, and as such we've started to see production occasionally out of different alignments with RNH or Henrique centring their own lines.
Yep again. A different way of looking at this is it gets more out of Nuge and Henrique as Centers and that isn't bad at all, and its certainly not untenable assignments for either. I think it makes our lineup digdown a bit more to get something. In years past McDrai loading up would mean the rest of the lines disappear. Its not that way anymore at least in terms of puck possession, tilting ice and stuff.

McDavid and Drai won't be together long.

McDavid has been out for a few games due to the NHL being brain-dead. He deserves a 5 point game tonight.

Whenever possible, we're going to get our entire first PP unit out.

Too bad I'm overseas unable to watch. I'm sure this game will be a good one to watch.

That's what I was thinking too, also McDavid probably wants to pop off this game, his buddy Drai gonna help hima back into the race.

I am going to be at the game tonight. That means it will be INTENSE and I will yell at Gourde

Take a sign that says "Mr. Kot finally fixed his vehicle"

Almost time…

Jean Herbert and Francois St. Laurent are in town after reffin the Flames vs Jets game. Hopefully on their good side and McDavid better not goon it up!

I like the idea of Henrique with Podkolzin and Arvidsson. They make up for his lack is footspeed and Rico adds some offensive touch both players have lacked.

The Nuge line is underwhelming but perhaps in a load up scenario in the playoffs it’s Evander Kane over Janmark which changes the complexion of that line.
