It's a bit complicated but...

As it stands now
Pittsburgh (the higher seeded division winner) would play Philadelphia (the lower seeded wild card team), Boston (lower seeded division winner would play Toronto (higher seeded wild card team) and Tampa Bay-Montreal (2 seed v. 3 seed in ATL division) and NYR-Columbus (2 seed v. 3 seed in MTR division) would be the other series.
This has been a long time coming. I don't wanna go back to losing.
Yeah, 13 years, this is the high moment for me personally as a fan. We are winning, and winning the right way, working hard, good goaltending, scoring goals, everyone seems to be buying in and the results speak for themselves.
I don't care if we lose Saturday, or next week, to be honest I want to see what we do after we lose the first one. The streak has been nice, but it will end eventually, and then I hope we regroup and come back out hard.
The only thing more impressive than a 10 game winning streak is two 8-game winning streaks.
If I remember correctly, you were ready to give on this team in November.
No work tomorrow, stayed up all night (4:30 AM local) to see us get to 9! I hope we can get it to 10 against the lowly Buffalo Sabres, in the past I'd be worried about us playing down to the Sabres' level but Richards has been fantastic keeping the boys attention and getting em up and ready all season but more specifically in the streak. Keep fighting boys, I'm hopin' to go to a couple games when I'm back in Columbus in a couple weeks, been about two years since I've been to the Nat!
We've gotta be one of the few teams (fanbases) that, by and large, doesn't want to make any moves right now.
lot of effort tonight
glad they took a long hard look in the mirrror

We're also the only NHL fanbase who has a team on a 8 game winning streak right now. But I'm with you on that one. Don't mess with things.
Unfortunately, the last home game before the Olympic break is Feb 1. After that, they don't play at home again until March 1.
IDK if there's a captain in there, but if there is one, I think he's it
Agreed. Razz guys who didn't try or demanded a trade. Mason didn't demand to be traded (openly). He tried to be a starting goalie here and it didn't work out, but at least he put forth effort.EdwardG said:Mason chants: lame. Let it go. Carter deserves razzing, Mason was just an immature kid.
