Not a curse. Vegas was gifted a crazy good team. Seattle .. not so much, but a ton better than we were gifted. Plus, AVs are not the avs of last year

We just don't have the horses to compete in the playoffs. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a couple of years to get out of cap hell. We better not screw it up.

Coaching doesn't matter when Kaprizov is playing horrendously, Boldy is at least making the right decisions generally but not executing, Kap looks like he is afraid to touch the puck right now the way he is battling it.
This is still winnable but there needs to be a major shift in effort level for the third, the 4th line has been effective because they are out-skating them.

It's just a lame excuse for one if ... a) not wanting to spend money (pohlads and the Twins)... 2) making a huge gamble on Suter/parise and trading away draft picks for rentals (Wild)... 3) just poor draft / player management (vikes)...4) no idea, I don't watch basketball (twolves).

Coaching matters in trying to find combinations to get them going.
You think coaching didn't matter for the Blues when their stars were doing nothing then suddenly, new combinations woke them all up last year?
I agree, they're not doing anything now, but they haven't been doing anything all series either, so why aren't we trying different combinations to try to get them unlocked? Clearly what we're doing isn't working, so why are we still doing it?

Kap has played with every single forward on our team in this game, and looked like the worst player on his line for most of his shifts.

I know he took crosschecks to the back, but are we sure he didn't take one to the head? Because he sure is playing like it.
Russo said when Kaprizov started skating again that it's an injury that's going to affect him quite a bit for the rest of the season.
