Started to find our legs.
5v5 offense seem to be a myth at this point. The Panarin line looks like they are playing a different game to everyone else, and not in a good way.

I finally jumped on the Jones bandwagon couple of games ago. We really don't need to trade for D. Trade Nemeth away at the draft. Don't touch the D otherwise. (lol)

They refuse to shoot and crash for rebounds until late in a game, its not the coach its been this way since about 4 or 5 years. They stay in the perimeter

The team just doesn't attack.

Attack the net. Attack open space. Push the play. Create space for your team or make yourself an option in a scoring area

We default to perimeter puck watching.

I’m really not that miffed about the period. Offense has been a problem. Aside from 5-6 minutes to get their legs, they had good possession and zone time. There have been a lot worse periods than that one. If 6 of the shots they’d tried had gone through for easy saves, but the board showed 8 shots no one would be complaining.

Chytil, Gauthier, Hunt, McKegg, Rooney, Reaves isn’t a bottom six. It’s the spare parts and that’s been a problem for us under the last two GMs and coaches. We need a full third line (or to drop
Goodrow to the third line, then give him wingers and add a top six option… but it SHOULD be Kakko if he can figure it out).

Laf doesn't have the physical tools to separate himself yet on wall play to create time and space for himself to make impactful plays. But him getting first line minutes it's still a good thing
