I know. He said in the postgame that he called the TO to run a play with 6 seconds left after a reporter asked him if he called a time out to buy time for Igor. Then he said he didn’t even think about that, but that’s a really good point. The guy seems clueless to me.

he just doesnt bring much on the ice stuff to the media...he does it with everything - never talks about calls/refs, is critical of a player. its how he operates. trouba mentioned the time out and buying igor time being the reason voluntarily. sure could just be what he thought it was about but...im gonna say it was mentioned on the bench.
