For real why isnt Kravvy in the top 6? What has he done wrong? Absolutely no reason, at all.

I'm kind of interested actually to see what he can do with Tres Lesches and Gaut, if he is returning. Getting away from Panarin is good right now.

Between Kravtsov and Gaut, our 4th line legitimately has as much talent as our 2nd line tonight.

And then our 3rd line absolutely produces like a 4th line, sorry. The Kid Line sucks, sorry.

And then like, there's cold Panarin with Kreider on his off-wing. Yeah, it's bad.

I'm bookmarking this for the next time I hear about how we have "soooo much talent." We turned a couple of dials and we're rolling three 4th lines and a 1st line that isn't going to work, and like, now you can see it.

I think you are overly negative about 21 year old's who don't get any powerplay time

I just have a feeling that Vesey-Trocheck-Goodrow is the second line we didn't know we had but need. They might cause a stir.

I'm not commenting on them as individuals.

In every waking second the Kid Line has spent together in the NHL, they have an xGF% of 47.7. The line f***ing sucks, just like Panarin-Zibanejad-Kreider, imo, is going to suck with three all-stars on it.

There a plenty of lines that include the kids that have been good.

They have no chemistry and don't produce good results together on either side of the puck.

The Rangers convincing us and themselves that this line is a thing is the biggest case of gaslighting since humans accepted dry toilet paper into the meta.

I said it before but I actually like the lines as long as you're not married to numbering them. Every one has players together whose styles fit.

you're confusing not having talent and the talent under performing/not producing.

There's a reason people want new management/coaching staff.

I'm very interested in these combos, as well, as they seem complementary to each individual's styles. And moving Panarin away from Trocheck will help Trocheck get back to his game and not try and serve Bread.

Is that 47.7% dragged down by that line playing together under Quinn when they are all AHL players? I'd be interested to see that. Also any line with Panarin sucks right now, it's the team's biggest issue. It makes sense that Gallant would at least try him with his best all around players imo

Vesey-Trocheck-Goodrow could be actually be a good energy line that can throw a hit and actually go to the net for once

That's the crux of Panarin now. Everyone tries to mold their game to him.... and his current game is rotten.

When he's skating and moving, he can play with anybody.

Panarin-Zib-Kreider is just quarantining all the bad right now on the forward side. Gallant should try sliding Trouba down with Harpur on the d side and let Big Ben carry him.

This is spot on. These two are basically the only reason I watch this team right now.

2021 - 43.8%
2022 - 45.1%
2023 - 50.1%

They are better this year but the whole team is in this particular metric. Kreider-Zibanejad-Kakko is like being on the powerplay so why not just do that? Because we lost to the Bruins who are like 39-2?

Don't get me wrong, it's probably the best line we're putting out tonight (a bar that doesn't exist) but I'm more perplexed than disgusted (I'm disgusted by Goodrow-Trochek-Vesey, and you know they're gonna play 18:45).

We keep going back to it like it's the GAG Line and they're break-even at their best. There's better lines that all three of them have been on.

It's both.

Yes, we'd be in better shape if young players were producing more, but Goodrow and Vesey have been in our top six the entire year.

Never having that Papa Johns bullshit again they screwed up my order and we lost the game. In Canada fast food places screw up your order 99% of the time but usually not a pizza place. I’ll stick with the trusty Pizza Hut next time

We'll see Kreider-Mika-Kakko again I think. Kreider being rusty/banged up for the Bruins game was tough but I think it's our best top line come playoff time. But, as always, the lineup suffers because "we need to get Panarin going"

Gameday and all I can think about is what will be the PGT title. Will it simply be 'felines'? Might it be 'like canines, just lazy, pretentious, and boring'? hmmmm.....

You're not wrong about Panarin.

A lot of the lines that I take umbrage with end up on the sheet because finding the "right" guys for Panarin is a mine field.

If he can't get it going with his handpicked linemates, maybe we should pick and he sinks or swims with what he's got for awhile.

I don't think he's a bad guy or a bad teammate, but if you treat anybody with no discipline, they cut corners and shy away from any adversity. It's natural.

It's the elephant in the room. Gallant acknowledged as much after the Bruins game, even though he couched his comments saying it was an issue with "the line" and not just Panarin, even though we all know Trocheck & Kravtsov have looked good away from Bread. The next 33 games + playoffs are going to fascinating. I think there's a chance we see some real organizational turmoil this summer.
