Yes, we're blaming the one thing that hasn't changed after going through everything else and getting the exact same product.

Gallant isn't playing the same system anymore? Gee, could that be because your system has to fit Rangers "hockey" if you want to coach here?
No coach lets the Gm or anyone else tell them how to play THEIR system. Let’s take off the tin foil hats.

He doesn’t have the players for that. We have bad team skating speed.

Then management should have brought in speed, not brawn to a fault. But team speed was not on the agenda clearly, which is odd since Gallant was known for having a team that played in sync with speed.

Fox is exceptional. His meaning to this team is so evident right now.

Kakko is one of the best 5on5 players on the team when healthy.

Brodzinski is terrible and should not be an option.

If this organization has any serious intentions with Barron, now is the time.

Chytil may not have the production but his puck possession is needed badly.

Scoring goals has been a problem. We should give Pajuniemi and his cannon a look.

John G "what do you do ???do you try to protect the 2-1 lead or do you try to score even if you CAN'T get in the zone" lol. Little slip there.

They look like they're trying to play in the 70's and early 80's when the game was very east-west, scrummy, and violently slow. Almost rugby-like.

Of course, that's when Sather played and coached.
See my issue is I feel like this almost too crazy to believe but I just don’t know how things can be explained any other way haha

At this point we’ve cycled through countless players, GMs and coaches and the same issues still persist. It almost has to be an organizational problem at this point

It's not that crazy. Dolan is a delegator and Glen Sather is still the acting be-all-end-all of the Rangers. I don't know why people think he's not.

This team has no shot in the playoffs for the simple reason that they run out of gas. Every time they get a schedule break, they come back strong and then fizzle. We are watching the fizzle. They will probably come back strong from this break. You don't get breaks in the playoffs unless you are 4-0 every series, and that has no chance of happening.

Guess they don't feel Pajuniemi overall game good enough? I mean he couldn't play on the third line. Over Gauthier?
Not playing Barron is disappointing but again maybe they are seeing something we are not?

Cut the shit, Maloney.

They looked exactly like this when they had Fox. The only difference is it's 2-1 instead of 4-1.
Maloney would like to get back to a small-ice game.

I like Maloney. Im sure he's clenching his asscheeks while talking because he likes to keep his job.

We had the 1OA and 2OA picks in drafts with obvious choices that are average skaters.

I do miss the team that went to the SCF with afterburners everywhere on the roster.

Or maybe we don’t have the horses for their system and they change it to adjust to our roster? And if I remember correctly we played AVs style to a T.
The extreme passive style is a constant across multiple coaches. The forwards being disappointing is a constant across multiple coaches.

There's evidently an explanation for these things beyond coaching.

How many more coaches are we going to blame?

Dont expect anything different in the 3rd.

The team is completely out of gas. Fatigued and running on fumes.

They could still endure to get a W but it will be ugly.... as it always is.
