I still don't understand how your President and GM get fired because of one game. The Wilson game. That could have happened to any other team in the league. Even if the Rangers had Reaves, doesn't mean he would have been on the ice with bread and buchnevich.

Gorton wasn't a yes man that Sather likes, Drury is, they used that incident to toss Gorton and my guess is that Davidson supported Gorton and they turfed him too.
