First time I have seen any desperation in the Kings game.

Budaj, fail on the first goal. Team can't score enough to even have one mistake and overcome it.

Just tank it. 36 games, who cares. This team is going nowhere in the playoffs with or without Quick, or Toffoli. Kopitar is a shell of himself injured.

It's painful to watch this crap.

Don't worry guys lets mortgage more of the future by trading for Hanzal and Landeskog, once the team gets hot they are unstoppable right?

might as well aim for a top 5 pick. thats more realistic than a playoff spot. but hey they swapped minor leaguers today so we've got that going for us

Is that 9 empty netters against with none for?

We are just garbage in the dying minutes of every game.

Our FO isn't just as good as the Backhawks FO at maintaining the elite status.

I mean, literally no one else has been, and we've been the only team close this decade, so. I guess you could make a case for Pittsburgh too but they've been through a series of coaches and GMs since their first cup.

They did well to push back from two down, but we just don't seem to have the firepower this season. Unfortunately Budajs softy in the first put them under pressure after a really positive start.

Second to last in a bad division, this team is not playoff material

Weren't a playoff team once Quick/Kopitar got injured.

The expectation was stay close, and not dig yourself a hole.

But if Kopitar is not going to produce, it doesn't matter who is on your roster.

You can't make any impact in the play-off's if your Number 1 Center is getting out produced in goals by Trevor Lewis.

It wasn't going to be tough enough to make it without Quick, but when no one besides Carter wants to step up it's going to be impossible

Any link to Kopitar being injured? I see this excuse being raised but never heard him say it or Sutter.

The positives so far out of the season:

Forbort/Dowd have been great, Gravel looks ok, but not great so far.

Dustin Brown is at least playing his guts out, and putting something on the board. Pearson/Carter are having great seasons.

Trevor Lewis is on pace for a career year.

Kopitar is on pace for less than 10G this season.

Trevor Lewis is on pace to outscore Kopitar at ES in goals.

Kopitar/Gabo might not even combine for 15 ES goals this year.....

WOW

I am getting so $%^$d off whenever I see Kopitar on the ice. ****ing DO something positive!!! How about SCORING a *******goal more than 1x a month!!!

So this is it? This is where the 2 Cups in 3 seasons goes?? Without Carter, this team may already be eliminated from playoff contention.

And tonight was the true Budaj. What an embarrassment as well. Outplayed again by more ex-Kings property.
